Last installment we left after two small side stories and the maid beach house. We start volume 5 with Misaki and her friends, and planing to go to a tea party with some band members. The reason for this high school friend Sakura (short pigtail girl) has a crush on one of them and must get the chance to meet him. Misaki in need of some girl time tags along, but unknown to these girls, the band members aren't as devoted to their fans as they portray.

This manga was interesting enough for me to read, but it didn't really draw me in. Sure it was funny and normal with everyday problems and yes i did download the anime, but i felt like something was missing, maybe it was just me that I'm used to reading other types of manga.
Misaki is a young girl who is called the demon president at school for being so strict especially with boys. But little do they know after school she goes to her part-time job as a maid at a maid cafe. Pretty soon the hottest...more

I think this book was kind of good. It was weird to see that Misaki doesn't act weird near Usui. Now the series won't suck for me! She proved that when she was ACTUALLY talking to Usui like casual friends and wasn't acting feared or scared. But Usui still plays his tricks again and starts flirting with her in front of many people. Man can Misaki blush! At the last chapter, Misaki visited Usui because he was sick. I think that was kind of nice for her. Although Usui can make her super pissed. I w...more
I absolutely love this manga! The drawings and characters and everything are just sprinting off of the pages in excitement. There was a lot of comedy coupled with the romance aspects in the series so it didn’t make it overly girly or childish. I love how it shows a stronger sides to women’s attitudes that they aren’t going to take crap from no one and they can prove it to you (largely by kicking everyone’s a**). Misaki and Takumi’s relationship is absolutely hilarious and amazing!

Hooray!! Kanou made a few appearances this volume! And speaking of Kanou, I reall do love Yukimura a lot too!!!
So the competition is on to save Maid Latte from the weirdo president of Miyabi Gaoka... and the results... well, is Misa-chan warming up to Usui?
I like that even though you can tell Misaki likes Usui, she's still putting up a fight. Most women would be melting in Usui's arms, but Misa-chan is just such a wonderful female lead! I love that about her! She's strong, she's bad ass, and she...more

An excellent Maid-Sama volume! The plots of the different stories were very good, and Usui is especially cool in this one.
Eeeeeeeeeppp!! This book was so good! I think somebody's starting to liiiike a certain someone else! Heehee.. In the fifth installment of Maid Sama!, Misa and Usui are so cute together (as usual) and this time Misa overworks herself yet again, trying to save Cafe Latte from that evil kid Igarashi (the creepy perverted one) from the rival (and more expensive) school.
The sixth book promises to bring Misa and her (gorgeous) stalker even more closer. So excited to read it soon!

Turns out I read volume 5 instead of 2, so I'll rate this one too. I finally finished the first one too.
