This was a fun adventure romance, with deep shades of Robin Hood plaster all over it. Some parts of the book did take some getting use to, but once this book picked up, it zoomed.

I just finished Captured By Desire in one day. I love romance novels, but sometimes it takes me a while to get into historical novels. This, however, was not the case with this delightful page-turner by Kira Morgan. I found the story quickly introduced the characters, but savored the development of their relationship. I quickly found myself intrigued by the tall, muscular Norse huntsman, Rane whom was first honor-bound to protect Florie, and eventually was bound by much more.

This was a decent book. I liked the story, Florie trying to find out who she is, while falling in love with Rane who has some "finding" of his own to do.
I liked Florie, she was determined, if nothing else. Then there was Rane, I liked him a lot. He was so strong, and yet so sensitive. They made for a great couple, lots of sparks flying there.

This is a fantastic story about a strong woman who finds herself and comes to terms with a rogue who is really a sweetheart in disguise. I did enjoy this book. There were some nice warm and fuzzy scenes. I liked both Rane and Florie. However, their love story didn't grab me like others. I still thought they were a good couple, they just didn't blow me away.

If I'm not mistaken, this is Kira Morgan's first book. And hopefully there will be many, many more to come. I absolutely adored this book! There wasn't anything groundbreaking here, but Morgan penned a fast moving, interesting story with sympathetic characters. I just loved Rane, our hero. A great first novel, I rounded up on my rating. this was a solid 3.75 and since it is a first novel... I was generous. A quaint tale with a skilled hero and an independant heroine. A good love story with a predicatble yet alluring plot. The author kept the pages turning with interesting sub plots, a few poignant misunderstandings and just enough sexual frustration to leave the reader eaferly turning the pages to reach the climax (no punn intended).

The book was a little too predictable for me. The characters went back and forth between love and hate and I predicted the ending from the very start. I still enjoyed reading it and loved the passion behind both characters. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light historical romance novel.

i was happy when i won a goodreads contest and was excited to check out this book; i never read a scottish/highland romance before, but i always see them around in the library and lots of people checking them out so i wanted to try one. but i never was able to get into this story, and so it took a long time to finish, and i dont think ill be trying another highand romance soon. i think i was expecting something more like the movie braveheart (which i loved) but this book was just meh.
