Finishing a series is always a little sad but it's also cool. Cool because the author's tying everything together how they had in mind and good or bad, things are changing and concluding. Now, even though this is cool, it can fall into the depressing category very easily. Always a horrible thought! But this wasn't a finale that was a letdown at all! It tied everything up so right. I wouldn't have minded Alex and Isabel ending up together but I think they still might and I see why they didn't rig...more

Pretty average, non-thinking series. It was light, it was fluffy, it had moments of mild entertainment--all exactly what I was looking for in my high-stress life right now. In a very unusual move for me, I decided to read this series after first watching the show, Roswell, just to see how similar the two are (normally, I'm a big believer in reading the book(s) before the movie/show). Bottom line, they aren't similar at all. However, being different didn't bother me because both were fun to watch...more

These books are rated more for teens, and I read the Roswell series when I was about 15 ..... but I still really love reading them now. They're written in an easily worded way so that if you want something quick and easy to read, they're perfect ..... I love the whole series :)

Ok there were some parts I enjoyed more than the show and some parts that I call "Sailor Moon-isms" - meaning a lot of repititon. The dialogue was decent and the story was ok. I'd say, if you like the shows go ahead. Yeah its 10 books but it doesn't feel that long.

I recall being a bit let down my the series wrap up, but I adored these books as a teen. I somehow convinced my mom to buy them for me every time a new one came out.

These books were probably my favorite thing about being in middle school. But then, if you knew me then, you probably already knew that.

Great end to the series. This is the last of the series. I only read the first and last books of the series.

it wraped things up nicely. i'm not sure if i like the books or tv show more, they both rock.

Melinda Metz grew up in San Jose, California. People sometimes ask if she knows the way there. She kinda does, but she has an off-kilter sense of direction, so to be confident of arriving, it's better to consult some kind of navigational device.

Her mother tried to teach her to read in kindergarten, but Melinda had no interest. She also had no interest in learning to write her name. (FYI, when Meli...more

“They were roots, Michael realized. Every memory of Maria was a root she had put inside his body. Too many roots, he thought. If Michael left all that roots could come off, shattering him to pieces. There would be nothing, just small and useless parts.” 0 likes
