Awww. I really enjoy reading this book to my girls. The book is wonderfully illustrated, and as a mom of color, I really like the fact that the children in the illustrations are of different races. We read one story each evening before bed. I explain the verses that the story is taken from (I'm not sure they'll ever remember, but it makes me feel good to associate the story with a specific part of the Bible.) and we review it after we've read it. This is the cutest storybook Bible for girls that I have seen yet. I do love the God's Little Princess Devotional Bible: Bible Storybook, but this one is even more colorful and pretty. Written using scripture from the New International Reader's Version this is very clear and understandable for young ladies to learn just how much God loves them. I chose this book for my daughter (who is about to turn 4) because I found it on sale for half off and thought it would be a good addition to our Bible story collection. We have a few other children's story Bibles, all of which are comperable to this one. What I do like about this version is that each story seems to have a bit more detail and to refer a bit more to accurate scripture than the other story Bibles we have. It seems like a really good next step up from the typical toddler story Bibl...more
