Joan Lowery Nixon is able to enthrall the reader in a mystery story. The book itself has a great plot, great character development, and a great twist at the end, yet there was one major problem. The book Nightmare is a book by Joan lowary Nixon it is 6 AR points. I honestly think that this book is a great book. i mean it is kind of confusing in the beginning but as you read more of it, it all started to come to you. nightmare is a book that i think everyone should read if they like scary camp stories an one's that have to deal with witches in some sort of way. i think this book was made for anyone to be honest because anyone could read it an love it. its a mystery suspense book.

Emily has been haunted by the same nightmare since she was a child, and it has prevented her from operating as a normal teenager in a way her overachieving parents and sisters do not understand. However, when her parents send her to a sort of summer camp for underachievers, against her will, they do not realize they are putting Emily into danger because the cause of her nightmare is very real and does not want Emily to remember what really happened. . .

I've always quite enjoyed Loan Lowery Nixon's young adult mysteries. They are realistic and suspenseful. She's always been so alone, and the novel was filled with the characters fear and her reluctance to embrace what it is that she fears the most liek most teens would. At least, I know I would. Suspenceful and wonderful.

Not very good. Oh well. Although I did take forever to read this tiny book. I liked how it ended but other than that it's not very good. I mean the whole concept of the book is pretty good but they way Nixon wrote it left a lot to be desired. But as you should know this is only my opinion.

A murder mystery with a paranormal touch. There is a kilker on the loose and one person who knows how it all went down. Frightening moments obscure this novel where the killer tries to silence Emily the one girl that is the one witness to a past murder. A real Nigtmare.Very intriguing read.

This book is mostly about when a girl goes to camp and in like in any other movie/book it's haunted well not really but I'm not going to ruin it for you but you will be at the edge of your seat if you love mysteries. Also it's good to read in the dark so you can get a good scare.

When I started this book, I already knew I was going to love it. I had read another book, The Other Side of Dark, by the same author and I thought it was one of the best books ever written. It is a really enjoyable story and it'll keep you excited for what will happen next.
