This book sucks! Worst than Ekta Kapoor's worst daily soaps! Don't even try wasting your precious time reading this! Not Good!

Unbelievably touching.

I didn't want the book to end at all. I enjoyed every bit of it. Haasil & Palki's love, Pallavi's upsetting love, Swadha's...... Uff !

Am just too much in love with the book and the way Novoneel thinks, feels and expresses.

And one more thing, I've read this book almost 6-7 years ago... But the goosebumps I felt when I read the story was beyond compare.

the pages opened up my thinking to how a girl`s life can turn wrong like in a jiffy...How a girl has to protect herself frrom getting polluted in every step of life
But A very sad n frustrating story...Pallavi`s life is sad from start to end..She z enjoying it in her own way...But we dont want a girl having to go through that much.Swadha`s start was sad...but her life looked hopeful towards end...Haasil`s life sad..Palki z alive.Hopefully she gets cured totally n hopefully she gets to meet Haasil

I'm still having the hangover... "Pallavi" is brilliant...the characters are like real flesh n blood...but want some brighter hues of made me feel only the "grey" is not all about gloom.

Thanks a lot for giving the chance 2 experience such instances...

I liked the love quote part or whatever it can be said... I hate pallavi she z really f*#ked up am not a favourite of her character and truly not feeling for her f*#ked up life. on other hand swedha was left alone with all her love, it gives some soft corner for her. Haasil... was perfectly sculpted by his character. I was impressed by him with the hurt with pallavi. I really feel sorry for him. Nitin is a twister of story but not a bad guy he just wants his friend to be alive and happy. totally ...more

I'm in love with "Novoneel". He is an amazing author. I just love the way he writes. Best romance novelist in India I believe.

Its really sad what happened with Pallavi. She loved him so much and gave her 100% to the relationship but it didnt work out. And she had to go through a hard phase of life alone and in the end she was again alone which is pretty depressing. But then if there is no pain, it wouldn't have been a great love story.

The greatness behind his writing is the pain one feels whil

Very intense, emotional drama. Love is written in all the pages. Hasil is the central character that drives the story, but the most adorable character is Pallavi. I love her because of the hope the character symbolizes. Though I feel that the ending was not perfectly done, who cares, the story is so so good. The final revelation about Hasil and Dino is superb. Very few characters, but the story has enough feed to take you though to the end with a feel good experience. Few of my friends too read ...more

With so much of clarifications in writing, this author, I feel has given his best. I could easily put myself in the author's shoes and I could understand that he wanted this novel to be perfectly written that is without any grammatical or editing errors. His choice of words are excellent. I personally love all his status upates that he used to share in facebook. Each one an unique and that made me to buy his novel eventually. He didnt want to overload his novel with same words again and again. B ...more

I guess I was too carried away with “how about a sin tonight”, which I have given 3 stars to, but I will probably be taking some points out of it, due to the terrible book that this one is. In fact, how about was also just average, but some of the author’s ideas reflected some of mine, hence the “carried away” feeling.
This one is just an immature piece of writing. In Swadha, I have found a wet tissue paper of a female character, mooning over a married boss waiting for his wife to die. In Pallavi

So, on the same day, I am done reading Novoneel Chakraborty's second novel- That Kiss in the Rain. This is a 204 pages novel which also has the tagline- "Love is the weather of life". This book is yet another book by Srishti Publication while Novoneel C is one of those writers who turned Bestseller with Srishti and later left it for Random House Publication at the time when his 3rd book was about to come in market. Novoneel has surprisingly done very well since the start of his writing career.

Awesome work novoneel! really a wonderful work. its one of the best novel I have read till date.
you have gave new meanings to discover love through your story.
there wasn't a single moment when I felt bored while reading. each page was bringing a new twist n surprise.
I am so much carried away with haasil & palki's true luv, and yes Offcourse pallavi's luv too bt felt bad for her in the end.
your story ended up with a continuation, hope to read a sequel of this book quite soon.

It's not everyday one gets to read such a decent and wonderfully crafted pieces of composition. Novoneel Chakraborty is destined to be on the top of my first-read authors.
This story brilliantly emphasizes and brings out all the emotions from the deepest you and then make you dive in the story and enjoy it to the fullest, just ad the author might have expected. This book describes and thaws emotions pretty realistically and that's what we say a 'reader's delight'!

Beautiful love story and nice plot. I loved the characters very much. The pain of Pallavi is heart tugging. I felt so bad for her, but appreciated her transformation. Swadha could have been given a little more importance. The accident that had caused Hasil to lose his memory could have been elaborated a bit. Epilogue was a bit soothing and hopeful. Good read.

I liked the way the story is woven between the three characters. The story is simple and characterization is comprehensive. The suspense connect between dino and Hasil is quite unexpected. And he has subtly hinted the resemblance of Pallavi and Palki during a conversation. The transformation of Palki is quite touching. Good read.

Novoneel had depicted the characters with depth. The story was interesting, plot was well woven and nice narration. The story has the potential to keep the readers engaged, but one flaw I found was the hasty finish and the unnecessary tale in the epilogue. Purchased his other books too. Will possibly finish soon as I luckily have ample time now.

The story just starts and ends. Honestly there is no depth in the book. Author did try to bring some but completely failed. One guy and three mad girls. Please lord think something better.

seriously one of the nicest book i ever read till date... the urge to mark my review hear soon after completing with the book.. shows my strong opinion....
the novel was erotic here n there... but in face book there was a gud review esply from girls... i thot that there must b sumthing beyond.. wat i was reading.. well i was only in early stages of the book..... but it was nearly after half the book where the actual story started... at page 11 of the book " dino said u looked like her girlfriend
A Bollywood masala..Still I could have tolerated because the story line is good, but not the dialogues. The quotes are so third rate, that destroyed the whole theme.
