He has a very special talent, to predict plays in football and what a team is about to do. He uses his gift to help his favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons to win a game. Troy's team is then accused of...more
It was a pretty good book overall. Has some slow spots. First one is better than this one still liked it. If you like football you will like this.
I literally could not put Football Champ down. It was fast paced, and I really enjoyed it.

Football Champ by Tim Green is a great book for almost all ages and is not too difficult to read. The book shows what football is like at a young age and in the pros. This book is now in my top 5 favorite books I’ve ever read. The jokes in this book are from twelve year olds so they might not be too funny to some people.
This book is about a twelve year old that has only a mom and has a unique “ability”. The ability he has is that he can tell what offensive play the opposing team is going to run...more
This book, a sequel of Football Genius, is about a 12 year old boy named Troy White. He is brought onto the Atlanta Falcons as a team consultant. He is very smart, intelligent, and has the ability to predict the other team’s plays in order to help the Falcons win. He helps them to multiple victories and a playoff run. Troy loves becoming a loved star of the team. He also loves having star line-backer Seth Halloway, his mom’s boyfriend, to coach his own team on a playoff run of their own. A repor...more
I read Football Champ by Tim Green. It is a sport book based on football. This 12-year-old boy named Troy loves playing quarterback for his youth team. He also has a special talent. Troy is really good at reading defensive play calls. He is so good at it that he is on the NFL Falcon’s defensive play call managing team. His mom’s boyfriend Seth plays on defense for the Falcons. Seth is also Troy’s football coach so they’re very close. Then the NFL starts to think the Falcons are stealing plays fr...more

I read this book for my project because I like football and I thought it would be a great book. This book did not disappoint, this is one of my favorite books that I have ever read. This book was about a young football player named Troy, who has the ability to correctly predict the opponents' next play. This ability has earned him a spot on the Atlanta Falcons to work alongside his favorite player, Seth Halloway. The author's purpose in this book was to entertain us by telling about the struggle...more

Troy is a 14 year old boy that lives in Atlanta with his mom. Troy works for the Atlanta Falcons as a ball boy. Troy is special because he helps the Atlanta Falcons win their fourth game in a row. Troy is able to figure out the opponents offensive plays and tells the Falcons defense coordinator which play to do. Troy is being hounded by a reporter named Peele. Peele follows Troy everywhere. Seth who plays for the Falcons is a good friend...more

I am reading the book Football Champ by Tim Green. This title fits very well because Troy (a teenager) has an awesome talent, he can figure out which plays the other team is going to run in football, he says that there’s a pattern in the plays but no one else knows it. He is helping Seth’s (a linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons) team to try and make it to the playoffs and maybe, just maybe the Super Bowl.
My favorite part in this book so far is when a reporter named “Peele” is chasing down Troy i...more
I gave this book 3 stars because I liked the characters and the settings in the story. The settings took place on the beach and at Tony's house. Tony is one of the main characters as long with Al and Aj. They like to sneak out when his parents leave but they are not suppose to. I think they are going to get caught one of these times. I chose this book because I like to read about football and I like Tim Green. I have only read three but I'm going to read more. Now back to the book they take coup...more

Football Champ is an AMAZING book. If you like an exiting, keep you on the tip of your toes feeling, then you should try reading this book. It is about a kid, about our age-group, having a magnificent mind, and who can read any other teams plays without cheating. His mom gets a job working for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL. She is about to get fired until the rest of the team figures out what her son, Troy, can do. He and his mom get paid 10,000 dollars a week working in the NFL. Once they get...more
I gave this book 4 stars because this is a pretty good book. Troy and Seth are in really deep stuff because of Troys special ability to read the defence and offense. He works for the Atlanta Falcons to predict what plays they do and what they should do to try and stop the play, which Troy mostly gets the right plays. But Troy also is a QB for his team the Duluth Tigers. Seth is also a star linebacker for the Atlanta Flacons and his mom works for them too. Seth also coaches the Tigers and they ma...more
This book is such a fantastic book about life, friends and of course, football. I would highly recomend it to people who enjoy reading books about sports and football, also if you are a fan of Tim Green. This book has something new on every page! I could not stop turning pages it was so good. Football Champ is one of the many books of Tim Green's series Football Genius.
I think that Football Champ by Tim Green was a really good book. The book went through good times and bad. I think I would compare this book to any other sport book. The charter goes up and down with the sport. The main charter a really good quarter back. His mom is also involved in football to, she is with an NFL team, this also helps out with the charters playing football. The biggest conflict is a reporter that wont leave them a long they think that there cheating, by telling the football tea...more

Football Hero By Tim Green
I liked football hero because it was very inspirational. I thought this was a good book because of the characters if there was something bad that happened you felt like you were right there with them.
My favorite character was Troy White he was the football genius for the Atlanta Falcons he could tell the plays that the other offensive team would run. He taught me to never say die and never give up on your friends.
The villains in this story are a reporter that keeps w...more

Football Genius

I loved football genius. It was a great book. You should read it.Its not only about football but also about Troy's life as a football genius and so of life's biggest challenges.
And I think there are other ways that Tim Green is writing from the perspective of an accomplished athlete... to kids who are themselves actively involved in sports. His middle school athletes eat kind of a lot of junk food, for example. So much that I had to stop the CD and ask my husband, who played varsity basketball in high school and rugby at college, if kid athletes expended so many calories that they had to consume extra. He said he didn't recall any diet recommendations from his high sch...more
troy a yong boy helps a "Nfl," team. He calles the plays, not for his team but for the other. He can predict what is comming. An reporter catches wind of this and wants to get to the bottom of it. He ends up finding his story but lies about the hole thing. He ends up ruining the repuatation of Troy and a player, Seth Halloway. Peele "the reporter" accuses Seth or tacking steroides.

My favorite part of this book is when Seth picks up Peele and puts him in the trash can. I like this part because...more
i thought that the book was awesome.Cause there was this kid named troy that was 12 years old and he was on a undefeated football team that was called the eagles and his assistant coach named Sith was telling him that now that they are famous since that they was on TV, there is this guy named Brent Peele he is a reporter and he is trying to ruin troy and sith by telling the public that the only reason why troy is on the team because his mom works for the football team. This book was vere very good. I absolutly loved it! It is one of the best books Ive ever read in my life. It is a sequel to football Genuis which I also loved. If you like football or watch football sometimes, you will surely love this book! If I could forget that I knew anything about it and read it again I would get the same statisfaction. This book is very funny, suspenseful, and it just makes you want to keep reading it. Tim Green, a former NFL player really astonished me with how good of a...more

Had the good fortune to hear Tim Green speak at a recent conference and really wanted to read one of his books.

Troy is a ball boy for the Falcons who has a special gift for being able to read and predict the other team's plays. He helps the Falcons win until one day a reporter gets on his case. A question of cheating, steroids, and unflattering references to his mother's relationship with a player mark this for older elementary kids. I listened to the Full Cast audio and Time Green is one of th...more
This was a nice sequel. The kids loved it. There were enough twists, turns and a few surprises. If you liked Football Genius, I'm sure Football Champs won't disappoint.
