This colorful portrayal of the Easter spirit is a great way to teach children about patience and sharing.

The interactive nature of this book helps children to stay engaged throughout the story. Step by step, the illustrations help beggining readers to follow along with drawings that depict what the words are stating. Children are easily interested throughout this book with its interactive nature. This book has fantastic illistrations, and with this it makes it easier for beginning readers to follow along and depict what the words are saying. This book is a great seasonal book. I found it to be entertaining but at the same time have good morals behind it. This book taught that if you share you will someimes finish first, and that is important for all students to understand.

Read with Kindergarten. I actually really enjoyed it. It would be good for up to grade 1. Exemplifies sharing. Also has 100 eggs throughout the book that would be good for counting/search-and-find.

The book is great for children because the arthur engaged them with a challenge to find 100 easter eggs in the book. Words are pretty simple for yound readers too. The pictures are good too.
