This coffee table book was gorgeous. So much so that it made wanting to sell up and move. My husband grew up on Pittwater and certainly the book captured the way he speaks about the water and lifestyle.

Having read both 'salvation creek'and 'the house at salvation creek'when i found this book i was intrigued and excited to find out more about the area both those books are set in. I found it a great quick book to read, that gave me a better background to think about the two previous books on reflection. A must read coffee table book for anyone who has read Susan's Salavation Creek. This book lovingly portrays life on Scotland Island in Pittwater. Real Estate prices must be skyrocketing. I'm sure everyone who reads this beautifully presented book wants to relocate to Scotland Island.

Beautiful book to read through and gaze at the pictures.

didn't quite convince me that the rewards would be worth the effort required in day to day life but it does still sound like a fun place to live if you have that kind of motivation and strength of character.

A really enjoyable read - nicely written, recreates the relaxed atmosphere of living on Pittwater. A great book for relaxing between more demanding books. Definitely an incentive to read more of Susan Duncan.

I loved this book. It is a photographic record of life on Pittwater which is the setting for 'Salvation Creek'. Beautiful photographs and an enviable way of life.

Looks like an interesting place to live, but impossible for me with my ophidiophobia. Beautiful photography.
