Ungemein kenntnisreich, wenn auch etwas trocken, informiert die Habilitationsschrift von Annerose Menninger über Herkunft und Bedeutungswandel der heute weit verbreiteten Genussmittel Tabak, Tee, Kaffee und Kakao. Damit bietet Sie nicht nur eine Ergänzung zu den selbst auf Genuss hin angelegten, stark bebilderten, aber oftmals wenig fundierten Coffee Table Books (sic!) zu Themen wie Schokolade, Kaffee und Tee, sondern greift damit ein Genussmittel auf, das inzwischen höchst umstritten ist: ...more
