Dad has read a bedtime story, and it's time for baby Ted to go to bed, but Ted is not baby Ted any more. As he starts snap, snap, snapping, he becomes a baby crocodile and Dad says, "Let's get this baby crocodile ready for bed. We'll SNAP him up, WRAP him up, and tuck him into bed." But now Ted's not a crocodile any more. As he goes through the different animals, his dad gets him closer and closer to the bed and sleep. It's a fun book for children as they guess what animal Ted is next. The ...more
Ted and his father had a bedtime game to tuck him in the bed. This is a cute book very easy to read with different animals matching the sounds of each animals. This is a rhythm story book as the child repeated the words to themselves and for the father to revealed the animals. It was a long bedtime game. The child did alot of motor skills to describe the animals so possible to be revealed by the father.

Learning Experience: The children have to put the animals in order just like the bedtime stor

Baby Ted tries to get out of bed by pretending to be different animals. His dad, though, is equally crafty, and manages to wrangle him with rhyming verse and silliness!

The watercolor and colored pencil illustrations are cute, but not spectacular.

A really fun book, but surprisingly long! Save this one for kids who need a lot of story before sleep!

Cute picture book with nice interaction between parent and child. Although, the rhyme and pictures are sometimes a stretch it is cute and will be enjoyed by parents and children.
Baby Ted pretends to be different animals as he goes through his bedtime routine. Repetition and interesting rhyme patterns make this a good read aloud for young children.

As usual, lovely illustrations by Kay Chorao. Not crazy about the text. Nice idea, but it's choppy and the typeface is distracting.
