More of my reviews and thoughts on my blog PANTS OFF REVIEWS

This one was an emotional rollercoaster for me, in the beginning I didn’t like it much but by the end I was cheering, crying and laughing. I had my hang ups that this was going to be a road trip about kinky sex, it became so much more than that. A deeply rooted love story as tall and strong as any tree seen on this journey through the winding roads of the USA. I was in More...

It was a pretty good book, which from me is saying a lot since i am not a fan of three-ways and i hate reading about open relationships, so for me to enjoy it enough to give it 4 stars, it says something. The writing is really good and I loved Sam and thought Mitch was ok.

The book was also like 20 times kinkier than my usual read and I'd like to be able to say I skipped the kinky sex scenes (which there were more then plenty of) but for some reason i couldn't help myself and read them More...

Wow, ok, so... hmm, I sort of lack words. I made the mistake of thinking I could casually pick this book 20 pages before the end while I was on my lunch break... that ended badly with me crying and a chapter to go by the time it was time to return to work.... So like any other book crazy person, since my eyes and nose were red from crying, I went with it and claimed I wasn't feeling well, grabbed my purse and went to the bathroom and finished... Now I'm writing this review while pretending to d More...

This is one of those books that make impossible for me to let the characters go. I can't really write a review, because I would end up writing more about my feelings than about the book itself. And this is pretty useless as a review, so why am I writing this?

I love books about road trips that are also a journey to self discovery. Sometimes it seems only when you are far from home, disconnected from the people you know - and especially those who know you - you can really be yourself, More...

Now I understand why everyone was talking about this book. AMAZING! If you have this on your TBR list push it up to the very top, you won't regret it, but will thoroughly enjoy the read.

There are so many things that I liked about this book, but one HUGE one, is how well written it was. From the telling of the story to the development of the characters, to the romances, the scenes, everything. There were moments where I laughed out loud, instances wher More...

OMG!!!! Just finish it and I'm crying!

Yes there is a menage aspect (Randy the third man) but this story is all about the heartbreaking love between Sam and Mitch .

Sam is a 21 years old student trying to finish nurse school. But he's messed up... frustrated but the lack of "decent" gay men he just do with anyone who want his body. He just don't care... and that's very sad.
Mitch is a 33 years old delivery man. His truck (the Old Blue) is his house and More...

A great adventure that Sam took the risk to go on with Mitch. Quite amusing and interesting to say the least even with Sam's insecurities which he got in check somewhat, but for him it was one hellova ride. The story overall is spectacular. I couldn't put it down; I didn't want to. For some the ménage might not be appealing, but it was worth it to me because the characters were savory and tasteful... fictionwise. LOL

But I have to say for me the best in the book is when Randy makes hi More...

This is the story of Sam, a young man who has found that he likes kink and mild BDSM in his sex life, and has a hard time reconciling what he wants with how he thinks a good person should behave. He meets Mitch, a truck driver with a lot more experience and enough of a caring nature to help Sam explore his boundaries while encouraging him to feel good about himself and his needs. In many ways I loved this book, loved the two characters, and appreciated the added complexity of a MC who wants ki More...

This story is well-written with great character development. You feel what Sam and Mitch feel, which is great, as the story is told from both points of view. You get inside their heads and want to yell at them when they make wrong choices, laugh with them at an inside joke, but most of all, you feel involved with their relationship.

There is SEX in this book… lots of it. Lots of detailed M/M sex, experimentation, Dominance/submission, and more. At some points, the sex dominants (no pun More...

This book was way better than I was expecting. The charater development in this book is phenomenal, and a rarity in erotic romance. The story is written entirely from the perspective of Sam, a young gay man struggling with his sexuality, not the fact that he is gay but the fact that he enjoys some kinky stuff in the bedroom (and, well, out) and feels kind of ashamed of his desires. He meets Mitch, a trucker, while Mitch is delivering stock to a business near the pharmacy where Sam works. It's lu More...

I only read it because the reviews of it made it sound like one of the must read books, but i've got to say, i just didn't get it.

I found Sam just so annoying and whinny and Mitch just way too creepy and the two of them together was just a bit eery, and everyone bangs on about what a good couple they made and i just didn't get that at all.

The amount of times Kylie was mentioned, yes we get it, he likes her, now do we really need reminding of this fact, every other page More...

I rarely read books for their erotic content, because I'm rarely in the mood and 'erotica' which is as erotic as the author thinks it is, is even rarer. But if you want an erotic book which really is smoking hot, and is also a fascinating tale of a young man coming to terms not just with his sexuality but his sexual preferences, then look no further than Special Delivery. It's all that, and more.

Cullinan has achieved something very special, no pun intended. She's taken what could have More...

Special Delivery isn’t anything like I expected. I thought perhaps this would be a boy meets boy, goes on the road, and falls in love romance but Special Delivery is a lot more complicated than that. At the heart, this story is about the sexual awakening of young, immature Sam. This makes for a rather different focus as there is romance, kinky sex, light BDSM, threesomes, emotional turmoil, classic evil women, and a whole lot of other issues – but the core of the book is about Sam understanding More...

It's been a very long time since I stayed up so late reading. I read until my eyes were crossing, then picked up the book again before coffee the next morning.

It takes a gifted author to pull a middle-aged grandmother into the body and life of a twenty-one year old gay man, but Ms. Cullinan does such a splendid job of it. As expected for his age group, Sam is confused and unsure of himself and life around him, still trying things on to see what fits, stumbling occasionally as he doe More...

I bought this and then put it on the back burner, thinking I don't know, I don't know, the blurb just isn't quite grabbing me. Holy shit! What a fool, this book is amazingly good.

I liked Sam, aka "Sunshine", the poor kid has been through a lot of disappointment and degradation. His mum had MS, then died of cancer while he was a teen. He loved his mum very much, she accepted he was gay and she was a member of PFLAG. His mum's sister, Delia, - urgh what a bitchy prig - and Un More...

So, first things first, this book IS NOT for the faint at heart!!! It's essentially the coming of age story of Sam, a young orphaned college student who lives with his stodgy cold-hearted aunt and uncle. Sam has a self-loathing streak in him that's a mile wide and he allows his aunt and uncle's callous treatment and other men's sexual use of him in order to feed his large appetite for self-abuse. Sam is working at his uncle's pharmacy when he meets Mitch, a cross-country truck driver, on the More...

Geez, before I read this book, I didn't understand the appeal of the author. But now I'm completely hooked and ready to find more of her books beyond SD and DB.

These two characters are specifically compelling because they are both so clearly men, with interesting twists that drive decisions likely many folks would not make (although we all have secret lives, right?)

Heidi excels with this story because it has it all: believable plot, touch of angst, hot sex, D/s-lite (bea More...

GAH! The ending of this book was just awesome. I'm in a little cocoon of happiness right now *shit-eating grin*

Sam is a student who is out in his homosexuality, but has some unsatisfying partners. Stuck working for his aunt, living in her basement, studying for a career as a nurse that he's not sure he wants, and blowing straight guys in the bathroom, Sam has hit slump. When handsome trucker Mitch breezes into town with a payload, they bump into each other and sparks fly. After More...

This is a well written book and a cute easy read. I really liked Sam, the protag but I wasn't sure how I felt about Mitch; I kept going back and forth with him through out the story, but in the end I desided I liked him. The sex was very hot. What didn't really work for me:

***May be slightly SPOILER-ISH***

-I don't agree with Sam's views on sex (that he liked being used, etc.) so it was hard for me to relate with him on that level.
-Persoanlly I'm not a bi More...

Twenty - two year old Sam has been living with his aunt and uncle (or rather, at their basement) since his mother died six years ago. He's working in his uncle's pharmacy and going part time at nursing school. His aunt loathes him, he doesn't have a lot of money, not many friends, and he's a gay boy with a kink for humiliation and submission in a small town where being gay isn't exactly popular. So his life is rather miserable.
Enter handsome, sexy trucker Mitch who Sam meets one afternoon More...

Wow! I literally just finished this book and, in spite of the late hour, I feel compelled to review. What a wonderful book, in so many ways! First, and foremost, it was SO damn sexy - kinky, definitely, but more than that. To the more traditional reader of M/M slash: this may not be the book for you. But if you're looking for heat with heart, this is the book. Second, it was such a sweet story, even though it was wonderfully smutty. A coming of age/finding yourself story that left me warm, More...

First off I would like to say that I don't normally read this genre (romance). I tend to read more of the suspense/thriller genre. But having read Ms. Cullinan's previous book, "Hero", I knew I had to read her next offering.

From the the beginning, the characters begin pulling you into the story. Throughout the story, you are enchanted as you watch the characters grow through the story. The love that these characters develop is truly touching. I found myself moved to the bri More...
