I loved Intertwined and going into this one I was excited, ecstatic and....nervous. Sometimes sequels never quite live up to the original, but I’m pleased to say that I thought this one was just as good.
This book was so much more heart wrenching than the first. So many things happend and just when I thought things were toning down or slowing down.....boom, something massive happe...more Ahhhh, wow! I loved Intertwined and going into this one I was excited, ecstatic and....nervous. Sometimes sequels never quite live up to the original, but I’m pleased to say that I thought this one was just as good.
This book was so much more heart wrenching than the first. So many things happend and just when I thought things were toning down or slowing down.....boom, something massive happened and everything was turned upside down. It was filled with shocks, twists and gasp worthy moments.
Mary Ann, oh my god, Mary Ann! I can’t believe she’s actually a Drainer. It seems impossible what she can be something so horrible when she herself is so sweet. My heart broke for her and Riley in this book, it really did. It was one of those things that halfway through the story you knew that they weren’t gonna get their happy ending, that they were gonna be torn apart and yet you kept hoping and praying for a different outcome right up until she left. I desperately hope that they’ll find away to be together in the next book, especially considering that Riley didn’t ‘really’ let her go alone. He’s tracking her and hopefully they find a way to sort everything out.
And what about everything that happened with Aden? King of the vampires and beast tamer. It was awesome to see how the vamps begin to accept him (and fear him, he he) as their king. I loved how he managed to get control over the vamps beasts. It was really interesting and I look forward to finding out the how and why in future books.
I was hoping to discover Celeb’s past with the witches a bit more, and was disappointed that we didn’t, but I’ll have my fingers crossed that we learn soon.

The ending was marvellous. Aside from the shocking fact that Vlad is alive, I was NOT expecting Elijah’s prediction for Aden’s death to come true so soon, maybe in later books, but not now. And definitely not by Tucker. It was incredible twist to have Victoria try to turn Aden to save him and have him and up with her beast and her with his souls. That I was not expecting!

Lord, I CANNOT WAIT until the next book! It better come out soon, because the way this book ends left me hanging and DESPERATE to know what’s in store next for Aden, Victoria, Mary Ann and Riley.......

One of the reasons I loved the first novel in this series, Intertwined, was because it was the ultimate paranormal read. You like vampires, it’s got em. Werewolves? Got those too! Fairies, witches, goblins, demons... you betcha! It’s like a creature overload and I love it.

Unraveled didn’t disappoint.

Intertwined was more of an introduction novel... you meet Aden, lean about his ‘abilities’ and you meet the three other characters; Victoria, Mary Ann and Riley. Unraveled is a lot more action! Unraveled didn’t disappoint.

Intertwined was more of an introduction novel... you meet Aden, lean about his ‘abilities’ and you meet the three other characters; Victoria, Mary Ann and Riley. Unraveled is a lot more action! And revelations! I thought I knew these characters after book one but that was only the tip of the iceberg. Whew.... I’m a little heartbroken at some of those revelations...

I have to admit that, I was absolutely enthralled in Riley and Mary Ann’s story. Aden and Victoria, who? Not that the parts about Aden and Victoria were boring, there were quite the opposite actually, and that ending, holy wow. But I was just more interested in reading about Riley and Mary Ann, and I did not get nearly enough of them.

Even though this book is a little on the chunky side, it took me no time at all to read. Mainly because I could not put it down. Something was always happening to our fabulous foursome... There are so many plot threads flying around, yet Showalter manages to weave them all back together. You’d think I wouldn’t be surprised by the magnificence of it, I read so many of her novels.

And the ending.... I can’t even describe my frustration! How could you do that to me!

The one thing that knocked it down from a five star to a four, was because I thought it lacked any resolution.... sure we learned some new things and characters are taking different roads.... but nothing was really accomplished.

SPOILER:

I mean, sure, Aden got the witches to say “this meeting is called to order” and his friends didn’t die... but that’s all I get. Really? Poo!

Overall, Unraveled is an captivating, action packed read full of all my favorite creatures. I only demand one itsy, bitsy, teeny, tiny thing.... MORE RILEY! (less)

Ich habe nur 4 Sterne gegeben, da die Entwicklung der Hauptpersonen mir nicht so gut gefallen hat wie im ersten Buch!! Ich hab mich so auf Rileys und Mary Annes Geschichte gefreut und das Ergebnis war das sie sich die meiste Zeit gestritten haben oder sich aus dem Weg gegangen sind. Mary Anne nervt ein wenig mit ihrer ständigen Eifersucht und Riley kommt oft so rüber als sei MA im nicht so wichtig wie im ersten Teil, aber sie raffen sich wieder zusammen!!Die beiden sind meine Lieblinge!! Auch lernen wie Rileys Brüder kennen und Mary Anne entdeckt eine neue Macht in sich selbst, wo ich mir denke das sie schon so viel durchgemacht hat und dann wird sie mit so was bestraft, naja aber vielleicht ist ihre "Macht" ja nicht nur was schlechtes, aber das erfahren wir dann erst in Band 3!!

Aber naja, das Buch hat sich wie das erste flüssig gelesen und mich sofort gefesselt!! Aden ist einfach nur eine Klasse Charakter und ist für alle seine Freunde da, er mutiert zum richtigen Helden!! Wobei ich finde das Aden, wie schon in Band 1, mehr Hauptfigur war als alle anderen. Die Anderen brauchen unbedingt mehr solch bedeutende Szenen wie Aden. Victoria ist die einzige Figur mit der ich mich nicht anfreunden. Sie wirkt auf mich viel zu kühl und überheblich, hat mich aber doch am Ende sehr überrascht und vielleicht wird das mit mir und ihr ja noch was in Band 3!!

Wer Band 1 gelesen hat muss sich Band 2 unbedingt kaufen und wer Band 1 nicht gelesen hat...holt es euch trotzdem!! Ich kann Band 3 gar nicht mehr abwarten, besonders nachdem spannenden, offenen Ende!!(less)

I am more than half way through and it is an ok book so far, not one I would let any person read in my house until they were mature enough. I really like love stories and good kissing scene's, but it makes me uncomfortable when detail is give and the females cloths come off (even if it is just the shirt). If I wanted that I would read adult romance.

"Verflucht verliebt" ist der zweite Band der Tetralogie um Aden Stone und seine Freunde.
Die Handlung setzt da an, wo "Unsterblich verliebt" aufhörte und besitzt im Gegensatz zu diesem ersten Band von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite Spannung pur.
Zusätzlich ist es zu empfehlen, den ersten Band gelesen zu haben, da dieser zweite Band auf "Unsterblich verliebt" aufbaut und die Handlungsstränge fortgeführt werden.
Dem roten Faden folgend, lässt sich die Autorin nicht durch Nebensächlichkeiten ablenken und bringt ihre Geschichte schlüssig zu Papier.
Durch einen, für den Jugendbuchbereich angemessenen, Romantikfaktor, erhält die Geschichte noch zusätzlich zu der Spannung weitere Facetten und bietet ein rundum gelungenes Lesevergnügen.
Die düstere Atmosphäre bleibt dem Buch durchweg erhalten, auch werden zwar einige Geheimnisse gelüftet, dafür werden aber umso mehr wieder aufgeworfen. Es bleibt spannend.
Auch der kleine Cliffhanger am Ende schürt die Leselust auf den dritten und vorletzten Band "Höllisch verliebt".

Die Hauptprotagonisten sind ausdrucksstarke Charaktere und so unterschiedlich wie Tag und Nacht. Diese Feinheiten wurden sehr gut und authentisch herausgearbeitet und schaffen Sympathie und Nähe. Da die meisten Charaktere des Vorgängerbandes erhalten geblieben sind und die Zahl der neuen überschaubar bleibt, ist es nicht schwer sich in der Handlung zurechtzufinden.

Der Schreibstil ist auch hier mit viel Humor und Kreativität gespickt. Gena Showalter schreibt flüssig, achtet aber auch auf ihre Wortwahl, sie zwar gewählt, aber für diese Reihe mehr als angemessen ist.

I found Unraveled to drag a bit compared to the awesomeness of Intertwined. Eveybody is still trying to come to terms with Aden becoming the king of the vampires and they still have the witch curse looming over there heads as well as creatures still spilling from the woodworks trying to get at the new king, a title that Aden so totally has confessed he does not want and ponders over why Riley cant be the new king but yet there is a nagging moment every time he thinks of giving up the title.

Okay, I have YET to read Intertwined(the first book) i saw this book at the Library so i started with it first.

All in All, this is a decent read.
The Voices Aden hears are actually the best part and I look forward to going back to Book 1 to get a better intro of them.

I love Riley and Mary Ann's relationship and their characters are very engaging in this book. I want a boyfriend like Riley :)

What I don't like:

Aden & Victoria.

I don't know why I waited so long to get to the second book. The first was amazing, the second is just as great! I love this series so far. So different and unique that it's so much fun to delve into this world and get lost in such great characters.

In case you don't know, I love the souls. They crack me up! They are always seeming to cause Aden problems, headache and heartache. They keep Dan thinking he's not as okay as Aden tries to make him seem and they don't give Aden any sort of peace. But...more

Aden had a lot to deal with in the book, new kingly and his pending death (curse) should be foremost on his mind yet, he has to worry about school; keeping up with appearances around the D&M Ranch; juggling his 3 remaining souls (Caleb...who can possess people; Elijah.... predicts the future.... Julian...raises the dead); watching out for goblins that are hiding in the woods; and dealing with angry faeries. This book has a lot of drama, but it was captivating nonetheless. I like Gena’s work, but I think this book was a bit complicated and it wasn’t as good as the first installment. This book was a mixture of an intense love, mystery, thriller and humor… it was invigorating and the cliffhanger was mind shattering!!! I mean I can wait to see how it plays out and how Gena Showalter is going to finish this series!!!! The ending was WOW! I didn’t see that. One. Happening. Jaw Dropping!!!!! 4 stars.

Unraveled is a ride. You feel sorry a couple of time—who am I trying to fool? You feel sorry all the time—for Aden, and I think Mary Ann development in this book is amazing. The things we learn about the main plot are fundamental, and the romance is well put. I love Victoria. I seriously love Victoria, and it is difficult for me to like a girl in a book. But she is funny—even if she isn’t trying to be, but her tries sure are hilarious—and fierce. Love her.

Aden, too, is a main character that I like. I know, right? This month I’ve read two books where I liked the main characters—for those who doesn’t know what I’m talking about, I like Rose from Vampire Academy too— and Aden is totally the one I like more! He is funny, and now he isn’t so confusing to read anymore. I don’t know exactly if I’m the one that accepted the voices better, but I think they are better written now. Much more better written.

I’m in a Unraveled high since I finished it, so… Please, if you already read it, talk to me!

The only think that doesn’t let me give it a full 5 books in the rating is the fact that I found some confusing paragraphs, that even the high didn’t cloud to me. It isn’t something that taint the story, but it bothered me, so it counts as a negative point.

What made me love this book more is the fact that we found a great plot underneath what seemed to be a common plot in the first book. We actually got hooked, and Gena finally discovered how to hook us in her teen world. Some parts are so ironical or nonchalant that turned the plot richer. Amazing, really! She outgrow herself in this book, in my opinion, and can be now be known as a writer for whatever age.

A great book, putting this series I already liked in the main spot for me. Now, I need to read the others books by Gena!(less)

Now, Aden's wishing for the time when his life was a little less crowded. THE STORY
Aden Stone used to think his life was empty. He had no friends. No family. No one to care about him outside of the four souls trapped in his mind, their constant rambling his only form of social interaction. Now, Aden's wishing for the time when his life was a little less crowded. He's down one soul, but is up one girlfriend, two close friends, and an entire town full of supernatural creatures eager to end Aden's life, thereby releasing them from his inexplicable magnetic pull. Oh, and if that weren't enough, he's the new leader of an entire coven of vampires.

While Aden struggles with his newfound popularity, Mary Ann has problems of her own. Her relationship with her father is still tense due to the weight of his recent revelations, and she's found herself increasingly averse to eating any solid foods. She thinks it's due to stress, her knowledge and involvement in the paranormal world messing with her mind, but her boyfriend Riley realizes it could be something more. A symptom of something potentially dangerous not just to Mary Ann, but to all those around her.

Individual problems pale in comparison, however, to the looming threat of a death curse hanging over the heads of Riley, Mary Ann, and Victoria, and every time the four of them turn around a new threat presents itself, this one more disastrous than the one before. And Aden's time is running out. The premonition he was given by one of the souls showing his own demise is inching ever closer. Just when he's found so much to live for, it's all starting to slip away, his only hope being he doesn't take his friends with him when he goes.

MY THOUGHTS
True to its title, this second installment begins to disentangle some of the plot intricacies thrust into prominence at the end of Intertwined. As expected, Ms. Showalter does a beautiful job of smoothing out and refining some of the layers so quickly stacked together initially, allowing for quick, even pacing and a more concise understanding of the different villains and their respective roles in the characters' lives. The disparate elements begin to merge together, with independent enemy factions still in place but more unified in purpose, seeking to achieve a common goal while the protagonists try desperately to prevent it. In typical Showalter fashion, the plot is still complex, packed with emotional depth, physical action, and mental intrigue, but the rough strewn paths from the first book have been paved for the most part, providing a more stable journey devoid of the jostling caused by the swift introduction of multiple new elements in a short period of time. New dimensions are of course added, but their placement is less shocking and disorienting, and we find ourselves plowing through the story desperate for more, hindered only by the limitations of our fingers as we clumsily try to turn the pages as quickly as possible.

Where Intertwined spent a great deal of time establishing the various relationships between Aden, Mary Ann, Victoria, and Riley as well as the obstacles each brings to the table individually, Unraveled explores the more subtle nuances of the dual romances. Part of the appeal of this series is the connection we have to both a male and female protagonist and their participation in separate, but ultimately linked, relationships. Both Aden and Mary Ann have inadequacies stemming from their mostly human status amidst a collection of powerful supernatural beings, lacking the brute strength of their partners and wanting passionately to be anything other than the weak link. The differences in the way they each handle their shortcomings is endlessly entertaining, a true testament the great chasm separating the workings of the male and female mind. Mary Ann finds herself plagued by her own inner voice, listening intently as it whispers poisonous half truths that soon cause rational thought to be overshadowed, while Aden, who has actual souls in his head speaking to him at all times, often ignores his voices completely and blunders forward intent on proving his worth through physical means, checking any ruminations of deficiency at the door.

Though the romantic element is augmented, it remains a secondary storyline as several new dimensions concerning our four protagonists are presented. Each of the four has a unique ability, and it's endearing to watch as they struggle individually with the limitations of their gifts, shrouded in a power they thought they mildly understood, but quickly come to see the implications of their capabilities extend beyond the realm of their current level of comprehension. Things are certainly never easy in Ms. Showalter's world–a glistening expanse of glass serves as a surface layer on which we carefully tread in the beginning, and as we continue reading, that pristine smoothness shatters as great fissures appear, providing numerous points of contact with the vast expanse of possibilities waiting for illumination below. There's always something extra beyond what we are currently experiencing, and part of the fun of her world is knowing we understand only as much as we are meant to understand, everything else revealing itself in due time.

As usual, we are left with a rather unexpected turn of events at the conclusion, and we sense the cart of our roller coaster has just reached the top of the hill, teetering precariously before we plummet into the unfamiliar, but we can smile knowing we'll be guaranteed one heck of ride. For those who were overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information imparted in Intertwined, take comfort in the fact that though this world will always be more complicated than most, this installment does a nice job of wrangling some of the wayward plotlines and streamlining them into a more succinct, linear story.

This book starts out with him dealing with the aftereffects of ingesting blood from two vampires, temporailly experiencing things in their bodies, and experiences something no one should ever have to. Then, as if dealing with the new responsibilities and threat of being king weren't enough, the witches place a curse on Aden's friends. If he doesn't show up to a meeting with the elders within a week, they will die. One problem, they didn't tell him when or where that meeting was. Meanwhile, Aden is dealing with his own impending death now that he has the three lined scar that he saw in the vision. It seems time may just be running out for all of them.

Mary Ann's character was more developed in this book. She really started to have her own identity, and an inner strength became apparent. She knows that she really cannot protect herself, so that makes her a liability. Instead of being content to always staying on the sidelines, she asks Aden to train her to protect herself, and that takes courage. Meanwhile this causes some serious tension between Riley and Aden since Aden has to make the training real, so of course Mary Ann gets hurt a little. With his extreme protectiveness, Riley just has a really hard time accepting this, but he really can't do anything about it since Aden is his King. This, and other struggles the characters have with each other make their relationships all the more realistic.

The biggest mystery of these books is what Aden really is. Why does he draw everyone in and boost their powers? Why did his parents give him up? Who were they and do they have any answers? These questions and so many more from the first book are still left unanswered. I was a little disappointed at first when I realized the book wouldn't be diverging into Aden's past at all, but the rest of the action did make up for it. I still think Aden really is the "star" of this series, and I cannot wait to find out more about his abilities. Hopefully the focus will be more on him in the next book and at least some of these looming questions will get answers.

This book was just as packed as the last one, always seeming to go in many directions at once. However, it didn't bother me as much as it did for the last book, as things are really starting to come together despite the multiple plots. Actually, now that I've gotten used to the "busyness," I find that it makes the book an extremely fast read despite the increased length. I read it in one sitting as I just couldn't put it down. The ending was another shocker, making me extremely eager for the next installment. The new direction should really make things interesting. This series is definitely worth checking out if you love paranormal novels! (less)

I'm back in Crossroads baby! I probably shouldn't be this excited about being back with Aden and his friends, considering they do have a death curse on them, but I can't help it. I couldn't wait to get back into this fantastical fictitious world created by Showalter. There's murder, intrigue, love ... and werewolves! Who wouldn't be?

Aden has found a way to be with the love of his young life, Victoria the vampire. All he had to do was kill her betrothed, the Vampire King who murdered her father, and now, BAM! Aden is Vampire King. All is fair in love and war, right? Wrong. Not only is Aden a human, (hello...vampire food), but when a vampire king chooses his queen, he has to "date" all the acceptable, eligible young" ladies" from high ranking vampire families in order to not cause an inter-vampire war. Would that settle well with you, if you were Victoria? I think not. Add to that, Aden learns that vampires carry a little extra something inside their bodies that makes them, shall we say...demonic? No, there is no happily ever after for Aden and Victoria. They will have to fight in order to stay together. Don't lose faith though, Aden is far more resourceful than I ever imagined. Despite the whole diagnosed schizophrenic thing, it might be really cool to be him with those skills. Victoria, thankfully, isn't being a spoiled brat about all the obstacles in their way. She comes up with some pretty amazing character moments herself.

I have to admit this now. I have my first werewolf crush ever! Riley, Victoria's bodyguard and now Aden's, is the best werewolf character I have seen written. If you could ask for the perfect man/werewolf/pet, Riley would be it. He's loyal to no end. He's manly (his words, not mine, but I do agree.) His body is to be admired. He is smart and calculating. He demands respect without actually demanding it. I could go on, but this review isn't just about Riley (sigh.) His relationship with Mary Ann is a bit rocky, despite their obvious loyalty to each other. It seems Ms. Mary Ann has a secret of her own, one she didn't know she had. Riley is the first to figure it out after he finds her "feeding" on a witch's magic, just draining it right out of her. In Mary Ann's defense, she didn't know she was doing this, but as all young love requires tension, this puts a damper on her ability to date Riley. You see, Riley, his kind, and really all magical creatures, are sworn to kill people like Mary Ann on sight. Turns out, Mary Ann is destined to kill everyone with magical abilities, and one day will kill Riley and those he loves. I guess that would put cold water on the smoldering fire they feel for each other. But, not with my Riley. Although Mary Ann does something drastic to keep her friends safe, Riley is determined to keep Mary Ann safe and with him.

Through all of this, Aden and his friends are trying to find a way to make sure the death curse put upon them by the witches will be nullified. With the help of Aden's friends and his inner voice souls, they search for answers to save their lives before it's too late. Faeries keep getting in the way, witches and goblins are lurking about, and Tucker the half demon ex-boyfriend, has returned to spy on them and report back to his master. I can't tell you the most scary part. The part about Vlad the Impaler, Victoria's supposed dead dad, being alive and wanting to take the crown back from Aden. Aden doesn't even know this yet, how could I tell you?! The cherry on top of all this bad news? Aden still knows how he is going to die and now bares the marks on his side that brings him closer to his death. He just doesn't know the when. Just sayin', he has that stress too.

The ending, shall I tell you about the ending? I can't because Showalter left me clueless too! But, it's a doosey as we say in Oklahoma, I can tell you that. In agony for the next the book!

Unraveled is a wonderful addition to the Intertwined series. Showalter kept the pace and intrigue going the whole time. I am so excited to see where this series is going. I have a lot of respect for Showalter's style of writing. I have no idea how she comes up with the things she does and keeps it all straight to weave such a tale. Once you think you know all there is to know about a character, out comes some other aspect you never saw coming, but definitely adds to the story. I know better than to assume I know where things will go based on usual cliches. I am going to enjoy not trying to second guess an author and just let the story ride. If I gasp, I gasp. If I cry, I cry. If I get mad at Mary Ann because she ends up with Riley, I guess I just get mad...wait, that was going a bit far and just plain silly, sorry. I am already missing Crossroads and its crazy supernatural pull. I may need to take a road trip while waiting for the next book in the series and see if I can't find this place. The characters did take a short trip to Tulsa in the book...(less)

This book was really interesting to read, it was very teen drama, mixed in with twilight, except not as over exagerated, or sparkly. And instead of it being a lead female role, you have a very strong lead male role.
Aden Stone(human for now): Has three ghosts in his head, who are able to do a few useful trick, like body possesion, raising the dead, and seeing into the future.

Alright, so Unraveled starts two days after the ending of the last book, and I have to say I liked Intertwined a lot better than this one(yes, I only rated it 2 stars but it was a whole star better than the second book). It was such a paranormalcy overload. The souls were enough fun without the vampires and werewolves and witches and goblins
and faeries and vampires and. . .

The sequel to Intertwined, I was actually a little disappointed in this installment. It was a slow paced story, though it had its parts where you were pulled into the plot. I didn't get pulled into until about halfway through.

I found the first one entertaining and definaly made me want to read this one. But the first one, Intertwined, was better.

Until he met Mary Ann, who quited the souls in his head the first time they chanced on each other. It seems Mary Ann can cancel or nullify some supernatural powers through no conscious though of her own.
Aiden and Mary Ann's first meeting somehow opened up the supernatural world in their town. This happened in the first book of this series Intertwined. Now Aiden has a girlfriend, Victoria, who is a vampire, his best friend Riley is a werewolf, who protects Victoria and happens to really like Mary Ann, and things seem to be better for him at the home he's staying in.

There are more complications for him, though, there is a witch's death curse on him and his friends, and somehow he needs to make a meeting with a group of witches but doesn't know where or when, but there is a deadline. He also knows how he is going to die, and that it might happen pretty soon. There's a chance for a civil war within the vampires, and it's due to Aiden and something he did in the previous novel. Oh, and the tutor at the boys' home has an interest in meeting Nathan, though he is one of the boys who attends the regular high school and doesn't need a tutor. Mary Ann also discovers something about herself that complicates things even more among her friends. And may even affect her relationship with Riley.

I really like the characters in this series, so even when the plot seemed to drag in parts, I still enjoyed the story overall! There are some really interesting things going on in this story, and I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book!(less)

The first few chapters of Unraveled lulls readers into a false sense of security, with relationships progressing smoothly and with Aden beginning to learn the workings of Victoria's vampire world. Things seem to be under control but…we should know by now that the peace can't last. With King Vlad's funeral scheduled in two weeks' time, Aden has yet to be officially crowned the new king. Many of the vampires aren't pleased to be ruled by a human but slowly and surely, Aden begins to prove his worth. Aden greatly grows as a character, in my opinion. Whereas he used to be slightly awkward and unaware of his skills, he now takes control, makes good decisions and possesses some interesting abilities. Throughout the novel your heart will melt for many different reasons and your love for Aden will continue to grow as you await his impending doom.

Hating being the weakest link of the group, Mary-Ann asks for fighting lessons from Aden. Of course, Riley isn't pleased about this and his jealousy greatly contributes to the severe spicing up of their relationship. Someone get the cold water! From the beginning, Riley has been my absolute favourite character. He's strong, yet vulnerable, and you will be unresisting to his delicious charm. Posing as Mary-Ann's ginormous pet dog for the sake of her father, hilarity ensues. Prepare for some hefty rounds of giggling and choruses of "aww". Don't say I didn't warn you! Cuteness and sexiness aside, it comes as a shock when Mary-Ann begins losing her hunger for human food and instead craves the energy of magical beings. She deals with the complication of draining those she loves and again, we have an exciting story line which we can explore in the future books!

I love that we're able to delve into Aden's past and discover that some events in his younger life have a significant relationship with elements in his present life. Our knowledge continues to grow with every page and as always, this book is packed with action. Readers are constantly weary, waiting for someone to strike and set off a horrific chain of events. Unraveled ends on a cliffhanger and will have everyone begging for the next book! Each character is affected and fingers will be crossed tightly in hopes of a happy ending. A great continuation of the series!(less)
