Fourth book in Harlequin Intrigue's "Kenner County Crime Unit" multi-author mini-series. I liked this one for the most part, though it wasn't perfect.

Criminally Handsome continues the tale of murder in the Four Corners area of Colorado where a female FBI agent was murdered and a mob boss on the run suspected for the death. Authorities in the area are also trying to find a missing woman, Aspen Meadows, whose car was found abandoned with her infant son inside.

Emma Richardson, Aspen's cousin, has t

Series Note: The fourth book in the Kenner County Crime Unit series. Each book is written by a different author, but the ongoing story arc requires reading in order.

In this installment, Emma Richardson, a psychic medium and cousin to the missing woman from book #2 is paired with forensic scientist Miguel Avecado when Emma's visions lead to new evidence in the case of murdered FBI agent, Julie Granger.

This is the first time paranormal elements were included in the seri

Another winning installment in the "Kenner County Crime Unit"; one of the better series coming out of Harlequin Intrigue this year.

I enjoy the different cultures portrayed and the police procedures that is presented adds a touch of reality to these books. I really enjoy romantic/suspense when there is the spice of the paranormal; especially if it is used lightly and precisely by a talented author like Cassie Miles.

The author of this title is an RMFW member. For that reason, we do not rate these selections. We’re kind of biased. However, it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t have them on our shelves. And you’ll see this message on any other titles that come from our members. We do hope that you’ll consider reading it, though. ;)

Well…it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable either. A safely middle-ground, well-paced story with a paranormal twist of the heroine seeing and talking to the dead.

The characters were nice, the romance was nice, and the suspense wasn’t that bad either. Pity it’s part of a (multi-author) series. The loose ends didn’t work well for me.

Cassie grew up in a small town at the very tip of southern Illinois. A tomboy, she spent most of her time outside and got into big trouble for breaking the trellis while climbing out her second-story bedroom window.

When her family moved to L.A., major culture shock ensued. She discovered that grapefruits grew on trees, television offered more than two channels, and all the other girls had breasts.
