Bruch im Werk ist untertrieben
Der Wandel Mays vom Abenteuerschriftsteller hin zum Verfasser heutzutage schwer verdaulicher metaphorisch-allegorisch-religiöser Werke ist nirgends so deutlich erkennbar wie bei der Tetralogie "Im Reiche des silbernen Löwen", und dort besonders beim vorliegenden dritten Band. Geht es zu Beginn noch wie gewohnt um Verfolgen und Anschleichen, Austricksen und Halefs Monologe, so bestehen die restlichen 2/3 des Romans völlig aus Träumen, religiösen Ausführungen, allegor...more
