If you like your romantic fiction light and fluffy, then this read is not for you. However, if you like a bit of meat to your romances, then this comes highly recommended.

A well researched, well written novel with a fair bit of violence, but the story did require it ,to be fair. I would have given it 4 stars, but I found it a bit predictable at times. Nevertheless I did still enjoy it. This was a first reads giveaway( thank you)

I feel that it is that my background that gives my historical East London stories their distinctive authenticity.

I first fell in love with history at school when I read Anya Seton’s book Katherine. Since then I hav
