Miss Fox's Class is trying to earn a field trip. To go on a field trip to the roller coaster park, they must earn $135. At least this book wasn't politically correct like the last one. Evalena loves the illustrations of all the animals.

This book tells a good story, while also incorporating math. This class is collecting money for a field trip. The make money, and then have many expenses. Therefore, you could use this book in a lesson on addition and subtraction. You could work out the math along with the book.

This would be a good book to use in an early economics unit. The endless steps in raising enough money to go to Roller Coaster Planet despite numerous setbacks would make for great mathematical discussion. Fun story to go with it.

This is a cute book I would definitley read to my class. It shows how determination can lead to anything and how you have to work for what you want.

$60 in admission tickets for a whole class to an amusement park is a suspiciously good deal.
