Katie Connor is super-woman. She is twenty-four and high-powered businesswoman who has all the respect and status of an executive in their forties. She is the perfect, most amazing worker ever and she attracts the sexy boss into an affair with none of those sticky emotions. She manages to give the boss the boot, leave her job, AND get another high-powered job no-sweat. I want that woman's life!

I really struggled between giving this a 2 or 3 star read. Overall, it is the typical storyline, young attractive woman falls in love with rich older man and get's pregnant. They marry due to obligations and then the Happily Ever After. I actually liked the hero a lot, and I really liked his tenderness and passion for the heroine. I also enjoyed the hero's family and the fact that they quickly embraced her into the loving folds of their family, willing to love and protect her.

It was a shame that there wasn't more angst in this novel because that would of made it almost perfect. Other than that, the novel was likable, well written and kept my interest.
