All Muslim scholars are agreed that Sahih Al-Bukhari is the most authentic and reliable book after the Book of Allah.

Sahih Al-Bukhari was compiled by Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Isma'il bin Al-Mughirah Al-Bukhari. Imam Bukhari collected the Ahaadeeth over a period of 16 years. He stated that before writing any Hadith in this book, he performed Salat of Istikhaara (offered tw

Also, the responsibility invested in Religious Scholars must be practiced very carefully by them, involving to understand the Divine book together with the life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). The Sahih Al Bukhari, the book that muslims wish did not exist.

Chronicling, as a hadith report, some of the teachings and ways of their prophet Muhammad, the Bukhari is strangely considered one of two of the "most reliable accounts" despite its somewhat bizarre and often sexually charged content.

However this book does have several redeeming qualities- it's a must read for potential muslim converts as it more accurately depicts Muhammad than the Quran which more often refers to the actual laws of

Bukhari wrote at a time when the Shi'ites and Sunnis joined in rejecting the Abbasid leadership and abandoned the Gospel and the Torah (see The Great Leap-Fraud - Social Economics of Religious Terrorism for details). It must be read in that light. As had the Christians before them, the Muslims now rejected everything that the Jews and Christians had done previously. For everything they did, an alternative ritual and behavior had to be found in order to make sure that the Muslims could build thei ...more

An exhaustive tome of narrations and accounts about the life of Muhammad (S). Not only is it an excellent source for those wanting to know more about how the religion of Islam was practiced as it was revealed, but it's a fascinating look at the personal lives of the people who lived in the company of Muhammad (S). It offers a look at friendships and familial relationships, and also gives light to certain jealousies and misgivings between the people most loved by Muhammad (S).

For example, Aisha (

Finally, I have in my possession the complete 9 volumes of the sayings and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) collected by Imam Al Bukhari. Regarded as the second most important book in Islam after the Quran. Even so it is incomplete. It was virtually impossible to record everything the Prophet said and did in his lifetime but what we have in Bukhari's tome is nonetheless worth its weight in gold.
