Naughty but Nice by Donna Kauffman
Thomas Griffin Gallagher is in Hamilton to revitalize the town. But to some of the townspeople, it appears that he's trying to take over. One such (very vocal) opponent is Melody Duncastle, formerly a lawyer, now the town baker. She doesn't understand why she's so attracted to a man who, it seems, is bent on destroying the town she loves. Can they work through misunderstandings to find each other?
Fun story but it seemed like you needed to read other stories in t...more

The Naughty List by Donna Kauffman, Cynthia Eden, and Susan Fox
Contemporary Seasonal Anthology- Sept. 28th, 2010
4 ½ stars

The Naughty List includes 1 fun, light-hearted read and 2 surprisingly thoughtful and warm stories just in time for Christmas.

Cynthia Eden writes a lively and sexy story which immediately put me in the Christmas spirit. This story was so enjoyable I couldn't believe how fast I finished it! In this story the 'nerdy' toy inventor named Christie is tired of playing it safe an...more

Naughty but Nice by Donna Kauffman- I felt like this is a short from a running series? The back story just felt like I was missing something and being brought up to speed. The story had a good flow and well developed characters, ,I just couldn't get into it. There really didn't seem to have anything to do with Christmas in it either.

All I Want For Christmas by Cynthia Eden- I am really enjoying her stories. This one is about a holiday romance involving a couple who have known each other since t...more

Quick and brainless read for a hopeless romantic. Loved that there were three short stories included in the collection. Cant believe it has been on my night stand since Christmas. Perfect for nightly reading after long days of state testing. I liked the different authors styles and that I could enjoy a quick story from beginning to end three nights in a row.

Oddly enough, the author that I bought this book for was the one who's story I liked the least. Naughty but Nice by Donna Kauffman was flat and not particularly emotionally compelling. I liked All I Want for Christmas the best. Both main characters were believable and likeable. Tattoos and Mistletoe was ok, but tended be a little overwrought in places.

This was pretty awesome, actually. The first and last story had me ooo-ing and aaaa-ing and making other baby sounds at the cuteness of the storyline but it was the second, Cynthia's, that I liked best.
It is, overall, an awesome read even though it made me long for the holidays already. I wish I'd read this closer to Christmas..

I tried the Kauffman story, but about half way through I had to give it up, it just wasn't for me. Eden's story was a fun one about a couple that has always had a crush on the other but neither one thought they were good enough for the other. I haven't ever read Fox, but found her story to be very sweet. The couple are worlds apart, the guy had a secret crush on her since high school and she just didn't even notice him. Fast forward to now and the boy is all grown up into a hot guy, but Charlie...more

What a delightfully entertaining holiday read!

I enjoyed all three stories in this anthology; but loved, LOVED the first two ("Naughty But Nice" by Donna Kauffman and "All I Want for Christmas" by Cynthia Eden, one of my favorite authors!)

Highly recommended! Makes you want to break out the mistletoe early.

What a wonderful collection of stories! A perfect combination of laughs, thrills, and "erotic shivers" to cheer you up even on the gloomiest of days!

A smooth & easy read, The Naughty List will make you giggle, make you sigh, and, at the end of a long day at the office, provides the perfect escape!

Kauffman, Eden, and Fox have created three wonderfully entertaining stories that will be sure to brighten anyone's day!

I wish I could give stars to each story individually. I didn't read these in order and I'm glad I didn't. My least favorite story was the first one, Naughty But Nice by Donna Kauffman. It just dragged a bit for me. I liked the other two stories better.

I like reading these novella's to introduce myself to authors that I have never read. I thought that the Cynthia Eden story was really good as well as the Susan Fox story. Both delivered on the romance and sex appeal.

I don't usually read many contemporary romances or holiday anthologies, so this was a fun change of pace. All the stories have just the right amount of festive fun, with relatable couples I enjoyed spending time with.

And lots of steamy winter fun!

Now where is my mistletoe? :)

The Kauffman story got 1 star. i couldn't finish it. Eden's was my favorite, but Fox's was fun too. I'm glad this book picked up because that Kauffman story almost made me use it for kindling in a fire.

"All I want for Christmas" by Cynthia Eden is a fun story of the shy-book nerd who is now a smart 30-year-old woman asking a Santa-Stud 'for a good time' for Christmas. Does Santa deliver. Oh ya!
Anna
Really wished I had read this book back around Christmastime but I loved it all the same! I wished the books were a little bit longer because I felt at times it was a little bit rushed. Regardless I enjoyed them and will definitely re-read this book closer to Christmas next time, it would definitely get you in the Christmas spirit.
Sharon Helfrich
I think I've overdosed on Christmas themed books! I'm saving the last story of this collection for next November! Not bad but not my favorite compilation of the season.
Lee
Cookie cutter romance without much plot, smaller amounts of holiday and some sex thrown in for good measure.
Jessica
I have only read Tattoos and Mistletoe- so the rating is for Susan Fox's novella
Brianna
I loved these short stories. They were wonderful and I read the whole book in one day.
Linda
love the Irish accent! loved Jonas's history becaused i cried! loved the letter
Kimberly Kincaid
Short, sweet and sexy-- three distinct voices and stories all in one place. Perfect to get anyone in the holiday spirit!
Jane
Only read "Tattoos and Mistletoe" by Susan Fox
Rose
Good, dirty, fun... with a holiday theme!

Naughty but Nice by Donna Kauffman 4.5 stars
All I Want for Christmas by Cynthia Eden 4 stars
Tatoos and Mistletoe by Susan Fox - did not finish

I loved the first two stories in this book. They were very well-written and the romance was the focus of the stories, the holiday "spirit" was an added bonus.

I started reading the third story, but didn't connect with the characters and didn't want the negative "vibe" from that story to influence my enjoyment of the others. I didn't finish the last story.
Jodi
Fun Read! Loved Jonas!
Shealyn Reilly
All the stories were pretty good in their own ways, but the second one.."all i want for christmas" was my favorite(:
Sheryl
The stories are a fun read. The third story is not like the first two, but after I adjusted, I enjoyed it.
Melanie
First a "thank you" to Kensington for offering copies of this holiday book as goodreads giveaways.
I am not a big fan of holiday anthologies, but each of the stories in this volume were pleasant holiday fare. I found the Cynthia Eden story to be most enjoyable; the Donna Kauffman story less so; and experienced a new-to-me author in the final story by Susan Fox.
