Veronika Marék was born in 1937 December 19 in Budapest. Her father was a doctor and he was a successful writer as well. Her mother was a dentist and later worked as a school doctor. She was 17 years old when she drew her first story book, which was published in 1956. She earned a degree in puppeteer and graduated in Hungarian literature from ELTE University, at the department of liberal arts. ...more
