It's pretty funny how I was thinking all the while that I was watching the movie in my head. I suppose it was due to the easy-to-understand words, as well the active way of storytelling.

I haven't read this book but I've seen the movie.
It's the only movie that has EVER made me cry.
Makes me sad every time, though
