I should know better when I pick up an anthology: I need more. I didn't read the last story by Sunny; didn't even bother.
Stakeout by Karin Tabke. There isn't a thing of hers' that I haven't liked, but this one was lacking. Many years ago after a heated one-night stand, Jack up and left without nary a word, which left Stevie very, very angry. I got tired of the heroine Stevie's mantra, "I don't do cops." Karin Tabke STAKEOUT-This was my first Karin Tabke novella and this made me a BIG fan. She knows how to make her characters chemistry combust. I enjoyed reading about the Jack and Stevie meeting (again) at a stakeout. I will definately pick up another Karin Tabke book, hopefully full length next time. Bonnie Edwards BODYWORK-These characters were friends as teens and meet again as adults. Lisa is a rich widow and Tyce is a mechanic restoring the cars her hubby collected and wants to donate. I really enjoyed all of these stories. Although they were short and steamy, all of them had some decent & enjoyable relationship building going on. Great dialogue, no fighting, and uniquely interesting stories.
Good read - multi-author contemporary anthology. All the stories were excellent - tight, hot and with engaging characters. Several of these authors were new to me - I will be looking for them again.
Good book of 3 very different stories.
