Brooks Martin and his eccentric Aunt Mandy find themselves immersed in danger, excitement and Civil War history after they witness Murder at the Oaklands Mansion.

Melinda Richarz Lyons skillfully weaves story and history together in this delightful read. Although it is a YA, I believe it could be enjoyed by a much broader audience. I enjoyed it! I loved the characters...Aunt Mandy especially!
