In a world where religion is traditionally free from ridicule, out comes a book that clearly steps over the line and smashes the protective veil that surrounds all of the lies, myths, and fairy tales. McGaffer wastes no time in hammering religion with logic, crude humor, and blatant disrespect. Does God Get Diarrhea demonstrates the extreme absurdity of Christianity by tea...more

Great book, easy read, very funny, but the author is a bit to nice on the poop-chip eating homosexuals. Hail AIDS!

Notes & Quotes:

"Should we tolerate the blatant incorrectness of religion? Tolerating ignorance, superstition and stupidity will not provide for a healthy advancement of our society. Religion is cancer for modern thought, rationality, and even common sense." - Odin Zeus McGaffer (Pg.14, Does God Get Diarrhea?)

Poor editing. Missing punctuation in places, mistakes like "should to get rid of", and general poor structure and redundancy. Also, it uses the r-slur, which is ableist and oppressive. Stop. It is nothing but a rant, which I sympathise with, but absolutely hated the presentation, content, and lack of neatly laid out arguments. I really enjoyed this book but this author needs to get a better editor. I have NEVER seen so many typos and grammatical errors in one book! I would have given it 5 stars but I don't feel it's worthy of 5 stars with some many errors in it

An angry book. High on vulgarity and the use of the word "retarded"; low on content and insight. An occasionally good thought or line, but best used as bathroom material.

I too was offended by the author's frequent use of the R- word. This really wasnt' that funny. There were a few time he made me smile, but most of it was just an endless rant against Christianity. I can definitely sympathize with his opinions, but the book just came off as being immature and juvenile.

Filthy, raunchy, foul-mouthed, humorous, and yet somehow very honest look at religious belief. It's not one of my favorites, but I could see a lot of people liking this book.

He definitely makes his point in this book. The research is very well done. He has a tendency to soap box rant tho. Highly amusing for the less shakeable among us!
