While I liked the first volume of this series, it was pretty slow to start off & honestly, I felt like there wasn't a lot of chemistry between lead character Hitomi & the other guys in the comic. I found that it felt more like "friend meets friend" than a romantic type of story. This does change in this volume.

Normally I would have abandoned a series like this after the first volume, but I think the main character's struggles hit a little close to home and I can't help but feel affection for her and want to see good things come her way. A good addition to the series. Hitomi is still hard at work on her diet for her own well being, and not others. This volume has a new female character who is downright nasty to Hitomi, and I wonder what her deal is. The rest of the girls are very nice. Tokita... I mistook for a girl in the first volume, despite -kun being used in his name. Whoops! He's drawn so pretty that it threw me off, especially with his luxurious hair.

Overall the story is getting better and I'm rooting for Hitomi in each
