As a photographer, this book is essential reading for those who are looking to be a photojournalist. Allard's easy to follow writing style makes his journey seem attainable, personal and educational. I highly recommend this book to any educator or student of documentary photography. It's a wonderful book and one of my favorite teaching tools for my job teaching the documentary process at my job with Momenta Workshops.
