A trained assassin, Sachin gave up his mate and left her in ignorant bliss of what he is besides she wasn’t supposed to be human and she sure wasn’t supposed to agree to marry another man in this riveting erotic paranormal romance. The story is enjoyable and entertaining even though it is over entirely too quickly although that might be a good thing since I couldn’t put it down until I had read every last word.

Hot & Fun Read!

Once again Mandy Roth has me smiling from ear to ear with her talented and creative writing. This second installment in the Talon’s series is so cute as we find out why Sachin holds so many secrets that even his King doesn’t know about. The story kept me glued to the pages and I could clearly visualize every scene as it produced such excitement from the drama foretold.

The characters Sachin and Paige were perfect for each other and had me smiling and laughing at their playfuln
Sachin is a bird shifter from another dimension. He rescues Paige from a killer and brings her to a sort of safe house for troubled girls. Paige is young and he visits every so often, she is in love with him and gifts him her virginity when she is 21. I always find, the older man waiting for the girl to grow up so he can have sex with her theme disturbing so this I did not like. After intercourse he disappears for a year. Sachin didn't think much of humans but had no problem sleeping with as man ...more
I have really fallen in love with this series. It is fast but still develops a good relationship and story. I already have downloaded part 3.
Rounding up from 3.5 stars.

Sachin is a trained assassin and adviser to the King of the Accipitridae realm (bird shifters). He has made frequent trips to the human world to take lovers and during one trip he finds a young girl being attacked. He rescues her from the man that killed her mother and drops her off at the home for troubled teens where he knows she'll be safe. Over the years he stops in to check on Paige not realizing why he is so drawn to her. Unable to resist his attraction to her on

The second book in the King of Prey series, A View to a Kill focuses on Sachin, the leader of King Kabril's guard and best friend.

After a particularly "rambunctious" night, Sachin is returning to Accipitridae when the sound of a gunshot causes him to veer off course and investigate. What he finds is a young girl hiding from a man who is attempting to hunt her down. Something about the girl calls to Sachin and he rescues her despite the necessity of keeping what he is a secret. A relationship dev
Another Feather in Mandy’s Cap!!!

– Her Cap of Awesome Books, that is! I am loving this series and bird shifters! Never mind the fact that this is my first bird shifter book & series! This review is for the first 3 books in the series & opens with King of Prey, A View to a Kill (book 2) and Master of the Hunt (book 3). I thought that Mandy did a great job with King of Prey in setting up the rest of the series. Their race & world is beautifully explained and Mandy did a terrific job de
I enjoyed Sachin. He found himself acting in ways that are not the norm for him. He advises and protects the King but it is no longer enough. Especially after he saves Paige. He finds himself protective of the small human woman and he isn't sure why. I loved that this strong alpha male is brought down by this human female. He visits her even though he knows it isn't safe to make so many trips the human realm. I enjoyed Paige as well. Her crush on Sachin grows each time he visits. But when he hur ...more

This entire series is such a great read. The characters are well described and well played. I felt as tho I could identify the character personalities based on the other books i've read in the series. Theres humor and love and conflict. Such a great story. As always with Mandy's work-at least for me-I can visualize as I read. It's like a movie playing out in my mind as I read the words on the screen. It's fabulous. Sachin's character is so funny and I love how Sarah-the farm mother-keeps him in ...more

I was given an arc copy by the author for an honest review.

I have come to enjoy this series greatly and Sachin was one of the characters i wanted to read about so very much!

Its fun,its hot,its sexy, erotic and full of action.

The characters are well written and the story captivates you from the start.

I was glad to see other characters and what is happening to them.

Only fall back in this book is a slight problem with time tabling to what concerns Kabril finding his mate in regard with Sachins story

Book two in the King of Prey series and is also a novella which means it is short and to the point. Sachin, the King's most trusted advisor and an assassin saves the life of Paige and becomes infatuated with her. When she turns 21 he makes her his mate and then leaves her for a year. Paige is tired of Sachin disappearing on her so she moves on with another. Sachin never to give up on something he wants and makes it his mission to get her back. The battle of wills has begun and either is willing ...more

A View to A Kill is the second installment in the Bird of Prey Series by Mandy Roth. King Of Prey, the first installment in this series, was the first bird shifter novel I’ve read. In this installment, it was good to see that it is not only the brothers who get stories. Sachin is a trust adviser and trained assassin. It was great to see how he was literally brought to his knees by his mate Paige. To read how the relationship between the two of them evolves into a friendship, while he denies that ...more
Sachin’s has found his mate. Paige is human and Sachin is a typical avian. He doesn’t realize that Paige is the one, he goes all out to avoid her. Sachin’s possessiveness and emotions come rolling out when he discovers that Paige is going to marry someone else. He almost stalks her to find out more about her relationship with this other man. I liked that Paige had some gumption and wasn’t afraid to show it.

The only thing of this story is that I wished it was a little longer. There could have be

I really liked this second book in the Bird Shifter Series I found Sachin to be a fun and interesting character in the first book, I enjoyed him even more in this one. He is smart, funny, has a protective streak a mile long and he loves fiercely. He is the perfect match for Paige. I think the complemented each other well, her feisty, tough, sensitive, and intelligent personality is the perfect balance for Sachin. I wish there was more to the story because it was awesome. I am eager to read more ...more
How the mighty may fall
Sachin – Lead advisor to the king has a human Mate that after he mated her and realized what he'd done just left her. Until the Queen tell him to take a vacation and go to earth he has tried to forget her and what he did. He goes to earth only to find his one love (Paige) and finds out she is engaged to marry another. This is a wonderfully well written book with some nice action and some surprises in the end. And yes it’s got humor and every emotion in-between in this stor

Sachin head advisor and best friend to King Kabril of the Accipitridae Realm, whose story was told in KIng of Prey. We are told to hold of Sachins frequent trips to the Earth realm, where he beds many a female!!!! However on one trip he saves a young woman from her mothers murdering boyfriend and takes her to safety. He continues to visit earth but now to ensure Paiges safety rather than sate his lust. On his last visit to her he finally gives in to his lust for her and mates with her, even thou ...more

Just finished the second book “View To Kill” in this very sensational storyline, what can you say about characters that are so well written that they grab you from the beginning and not let go even after the story is finished. This story maybe short but it is a joy to read, to devour and not want the story to end, the character of Sachin was terrific, he saved her, watched her as she matured into a fantastic women, and how he loves her, he definitely has a wonderful match in Paige, a perfect pai ...more

This was a great follow up to King of Prey. The main character in this is the right hand man of the King of Hawks. Sachin meets his mate when she is to young to claim but he continues to visit her as she grows up. After mistakes are made and trust is lost Sachin must figure out what he wants and how to hang on to it.

I liked how this book went with a different approach to how the main characters meet and their relationship progresses. There was no instant love with them flying off into the sunse

I am really enjoying this series so far. HOLY smokes talk about sexy alpha males. I never really thought much about bird shifters being all that sexy, but these shifters have had me thinking more then once that I was in need of a very cold shower. I can not wait to read the rest of the series and see what is in store for the remaining males and the females they must somehow claim as their own.

Sachin was a warrior that wouldn't give his heart, and Paige was a human that lost hers to him. This is an excellent read and as with all of Mandy's books I couldn't put it down until it was finished. This book can be read as a stand alone but I recommend you read Book 1, Prince of Pleasure first.

I loved the first in the series and I was not a fan of Sachin. This book changed my mind I now love him so much. In the first book he seemed so stiff and blah. To see him in this new light was great. He did make me mad a few times but I love the chemistry he and Paige have. Love this series!

As always Mandy M Roth writes a book that has it all. Her ability to make a short read feel like a longer book, but bringing you into a well realized world and having characters with such depth is a true testament to why this authors books and series such as Immortal Ops that has spanned 10 years are still topping number one on amazon every time a new one is released.

Our male lead Sachin is a trained assassin who is not the brightest bulb in the box when it comes to women, but a very typical ma
im in love with the bird people and so far sachin is my favourite even though at times i wanted to slap him over the head. Great read highly recommended.
This is another great series to add. The storylines are intriguing and it keeps you interested throughout. There is never a dull moment.
