Barack Obama once came close to injecting heroin, but balked when a junkie pulled out the needle and rubber tubing. Obama and Mitt Romney are descended from polygamous great-grandfathers who had five wives apiece. Rudy Giuliani's first wife was his second cousin. Liberal Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton was once a conservative Republican "Goldwater Girl."

This book was a quick read describing all of the (then) political candidates running for the presidential nomination. I actually came out with a new found respect for Rudy, a few solid reasons I detest Hillary, and an utter loathing of Mitt Romney. Good stuff, very funny, and gives a cheat sheet at the back of each candidate's section describing his or her "views" on important issues such as the environment, immigration, the war, taxes, etc.

Interesting introduction the the candidates -- the biographies on each are brief, and the short rundown of their positions on key issues is helpful. I will need to read more in-depth sources on my top two candidates before I make a choice.

Stupid author. Stupid book, and wasted my precious time. But not as stupid as William Podhertz who wrote a 487 p book on why Hillary Clinton would win. Okaaaay.Just checking on all the political know-it-alls.
