A good common-sense guide to 'raise fit kids in a fat world.' Isn't that the truth?? There was a lot of basic info that I alreay knew in this book, so it's a good beginner guide if you don't know much about basic nutrition principals. There are chapters on planning meals and slimming down everything from snacks to lunches. There is also a fast-food guide, that can help make better eating-out choices. There is a good 'kid friendly' recipe section in the back of the book.
