This was the first book I downloaded from my public library when I got my Kindle Fire. I wish I hadn't. I wish I had instead downloaded something meaningful or fun, or meaningfully fun.
My opinion of Davidson in the past has been that she is an okay writer who happens to excel in humor. This Misadventure was very badly edited, the characters were flat, and were it not for the title and the hope that the book would rise to its nomiker I would have stopped much earlier.

A nice little filler. Quite enjoyable if you have read the Queen Betsy's. Boo also makes an appearance in the Betsy / Wyndham crossover book Dead Over Heels.

Just read this novella again, and I have to say I find it hilarious! I would love to see more about these characters in the future.
Very light, but with hints of what could come
Enjoyable little book. Everything we expect from MJD, which is a good thing.

MaryJanice Davidson is an American author who writes mostly paranormal romance, but also young adult and non-fiction. She is the creator of the popular Undead series. She is both a New York Times and USA Today bestseller. She won a 2004 Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award and was nominated for the same award in 2005.
