this would have had 5 stars for recipes and pictures but it lost a whole star for not having an index! what kind of cookbook doesn't have an index?!? and the categories made no sense either. so if you want to find a recipe, you just have to flip through the whole thing trying to find the picture. And the gorgeous photography does not make up for how ANNOYING it is.

This book was my introduction to raw food recipes. I thoroughly enjoyed the meals and the photos. I found the book to be very helpful with the way it is sectioned by meal and even snacks. All of the recipes I've tried so far are great! It even suggests all the tools and basic ingredients you would need to sustain a completely raw diet, and there are sections between recipes that educate you on what a raw food diet is and how the diet can improve your health.
