1500 pages! Yay I did it! (But it took me about a year and a half.) This book has been published yearly since 1864 by the Brits. The most recent edition will cost you around 350.00. (mine was a year old and I bought it for 15.00) It purports to be the authoritative word on the "politics, cultures, and economies of the world". Reading this book started as an attempt to find the best island to move to, but over time became an attempt to understand better my time and place on this planet. Seriously...more
