Well most of this book consists of literary essays where the authors, out of sheer brilliance of insight, reach a series of conclusions which all prove the exact same thing: that proposition A and it's polar opposite, proposition B, are paradoxically both true, at the same time, in x text. The really, really brilliant writers go one step further and demonstrate that the fact proposition A is true paradoxically makes its polar opposite, proposition B, also true. A few very interesting and persuasive essays, but overall a bit too heavy and academic for a relatively casual reader like me.
