Mar 13, 2010 seton rated it 4 of 5 stars Recommends it for: menage readers
This is one of the better menage stories I have read (and I have read about two hundred of them by now. Yeah, I know that I am one sick cookie :-P)

I first read this when it came out in 2008 and recently reread it to refresh my memory since I am reading the offshoot story (Sunset Knight). It was pretty much as I remembered.

What made this one stand out from other menage stories is that this is one of the few that explores the mess that can happen when one brings a third into a menage situation. T...more

Sidney and Drew have been together for a year. Taking the lead from some of Sid's romance novels lying around, he sets up a ménage with his good friend Brody. First a little put off, but then intrigued by the permission. Brody and Drew send her over the deep end with the help of a delicate dessert. But she is clearly the dessert for both men. Brody hints of a deeper and darker pleasure on his way out the door. This has Sid lusting and Drew worrying that he screwed up. Is Sid his or is she meant...more

Drew finds out from his girlfriend's reading material that she has ménage fantasies and decides to make it a reality for their one-year anniversary. He enrolls his best friend Brody to be the third partner, unaware that he's got some kind of thing for Sidney. While she's at first a bit startled, Sidney accepts this "gift" and things go amazingly well...at first.

The ménage scenes are definitely well done but more importantly, the story that deals with the complexity of everyone's feelings and th...more

I have to say this was a cute read. Sid and Drew are about to celebrate their one year anniversary. After reading a few of Sid's romance novels (which I found to be awesome), Drew thinks he has found the perfect anniversary gift by giving Sid her ultimate fantasy in the form of his best friend Brodie. Things don't quite go as Drew planned and he's afraid what he has started will end up making him lose Sid to his best friend. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of closure with Brodie in the...more

Another quickie. Not my usual type of menage but satisfying in its own way. I liked that there was a HEA and a chance at friendship for the three of them as a whole. Nicely dirty and Brody is pretty darn Rawr!

This book was a free Kindle download I picked up 07/16/12 for the Why Buy the Cow? reading challenge.

OK, so I'm a sucker for emotionally troubled men. This story was well written, at times hotter than the 9th level of hell, and, yes, had the requisite emotionally troubled man.
I admit I did at times want to choke all three of them, but hey, if a story can bring up emotion, it has done its job, right?

Short, sexy read about a woman who has commitment issues. Her boyfriend tries to fulfill a fantasy for her by providing another man (his best friend) for a threesome. I was having difficulty figuring out how this would have a HEA, but the author did work it out.

Nook Freebie. This is a very steamy romance with a menage and resulting problems in the primary relationship. Interesting characters, set in a restaurant and for a twist, SHE has trouble committing instead of him. I liked this enough I bought the sequel.

holy crap! I guess I didn't read the reviews on this one, and just got it because it was free. Umm... fifty shades does not even compare to the "w.t.f.-ness" of this one. Insane! BUT- if you liked 50 shades, you'll probably enjoy thus one.

This menage novella is a bit different than a lot of the erotica menage I've recently read. It shows a couple who have to deal with the effects of jealousy and misunderstandings that a menage caused in their committed relationship.

It was a hot but complex short read, and well done at that. I dont want to spoil but I was very ready for something to happen that wasnt in the cards for this story, so I was a little disappointed but at the same time, I totally got it. Good read.

I only give this book two stars because I didn't get that warm and fuzzy feeling I usually do from romance novels with happy endings. It was a good plot but the characters didn't draw me in like I wanted them to.

I was rather surprised with the book. It had a good developing stroy and showed great struggle and love between a couple. Sometimes things we think may tear us apart can often bring us even closer together.
Crystal
I liked this little story. I was really happy with the guy that she chose. Sometimes you need to really look inside yourself and see if you need to bring new people into the bedroom with you.

this story was short but based more on a possible reaction/outcome to a menage.. I thought it was pretty good and to the point.. And I did enjoy the ending

Cute story - nothing too heavy, good but seemed rather obvious as series bait for the next book

a fun summer quick read though

Quick freebie read. Couple decides to spice up their life by adding a friend and it forces the couple to examine their relationship and make some choices.

Free on kindle. Not my usual read, but I think the author did a good job making the story believable and wrapping it up at the end.
Lindsay
1/2 decent story....Thought it was kinda funny how they kept switching the spelling of the main character "Sidney's" name tho...lol.
Nicky
Very steamy in parts, but I also kept falling asleep. Not entirely sure what the point of the friend joining them was.

This is the first book I read by Sami Lee. It's not much I can say its not a story for me.

Holy cow! I was reading this while using the stationary bike, and caught myself a few times not pedaling anymore! LOL

I feel you shouldn't start something you can't finish and this was a prime example.

It was ok, can show the downfall of bringing a 3 into a relationship.

A really good story. I am looking forward to Brody's story.

Sex was good...story was clunky

Sami wrote her first romantic tales before she’d ever read a romance. In high school she penned stories about all her friends falling in love with fictitious exotic exchange students or reformable bad boys while she should have been listening to the teacher. Some time later (after somehow managing to get through school) she discovered romance novels and wondered how such magical things could have...more
