Deborah Sheldon's short story collection, All the Little Things That We Lose', is a fine example of Australian contemporary writing. Each story is beautifully written and each offers an original insight into the human condition. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes downright frightening, this book is a true gem. I couldn't put it down.

A book about everyday life, with ordinary people, in Australia. It is a quick and easy read. Finding out more about life in Australia was interesting. I guess I am just not that big of a fan of short stories. I want to know how things end. I need more information in my reading. So because of this I found the book to be just "okay".
