I read most of this for a weekly discussion group/class, but probably won't finish it. Everyone has stories and theories about brain drain, but there's very little quality research on how/why it happens, its global impact, or how its patterns can be altered (if they even should be). Our discussion group had hoped this book, as well as the Tanner brain drain book, would offer some pertinent, statistically rigorous data, or at least present a framework for investigating the topic; however, we were ...more
