A storyline which could have been strong but was somehow crucified. There was sex but not much conviction in the chemistry between the two characters. Jonas is supposed to be a lothario (there isn't any evidence of that in the story) infact he sounds downright decent all the way through. Aimi thinks one thing and seems to be doing just the opposite.

At first I wasn't sure, it started out a little slow and it was almost painstakingly clear that it was the heroine who was the "guilt ridden tortured soul" in this book. While the book says the hero is a "playboy", you see none of those tendencies. It's not just about lust, you get to see their romance unfold (HQ speed, of course). Bad title... since the wife part doesn't exactly happen!
Good story though.
It read a bit like an author's first book - too many unnecessary words clouding up the story and I found the wordiness creating a treacle that made it hard to read the book through without re-reading lines. Which is not what I expect of an MB. Story was ok though, in the end.
Who came up with this title? The heroine does not actually become Jonas Berkeley's wife before the book ends.
