Where Do Polar Bears Live? teaches children about polar bears in a fun and engaging way. This book starts out a bit like a story by focusing on a mother polar bear and her cub. This is a nonfiction book for elementary school aged children. This book gives a day in the life of a polar bear, naming the creature's diet, climate, and threats to their environment. It teaches what can be done to keep the home of the polar bears safe. The book itself was very informative and I learned things about polar bears that I did not know before reading. The illustrations are beautiful and give a wonderful visual of the habitat of the polar bears. It is both factual and informative abo ...more

Great informational text about polar bears. Teaches students about polar bear cubs. Great information about global warning and the effect it is having on the Arctic, the home of the polar bear.

This non-fiction book introduces students to the climate of a different continent, it talks about global warming, and how to prevent it. It also introduces students to a new animal species and their habitat.
