The photographs lining the mantel of the Butterfield home tell their story. An interesting novel with great characters, but as it's an Everlasting Love novel, it's not quite a romance. It's more of a women's fiction story with an HEA. Still, a great read if you like drama and angst.

Told in first-person from the POV of middle-aged mom Tess Butterfield, it tells the story of her dealing with a sudden change to what she had hitherto understood to be her family. 25 years after meeting her husband Michael, and after 18 years of marriage, she finds out that he had fathered a

The cheating in this story is technically "not cheating" as they were split up as young loves, but to me he did cheat as he was still desperately in love with the heroine and dumped the ow immediately to run back to her after their break. The son (once again a secret child...is honestly an angel since birth scenario) is a good guy...hhe is however seeking them for a purpose... SPOILERS

SPOILERS he is very sick

Harlequin Super Romance, especially the Everlasting Love series are my newest guilty pleasure.
It only took me a few hours to read and it had the obligatory happy ending. A little mind candy never hurt anyone! Awesome.

I've always been a reader. I've also been a movie theater ticket taker, a nanny, a camp counselor, and a romance editor. Now I'm a mom and a writer who still spends most of my free time reading (when I'm not watching too much TV).

After starting off in romance with books like Hot Date and Pictures of Us, I'm writing in the genre I've always loved most, young adult fiction. (My very first completed
