I haven’t heard about this book until I went to the UCLA Festival of Books in 2009. I was only there to get some of my book signed, but after hearing that Sabrina Bryan was there, my sister was sure to meet her. Little did we know that she wrote a book with Julia DeVillers! I personally loved reading How My Private, Personal Journal Became a Bestseller, So I was bound to read Princess of Gossip. After waiting about 3-4 days for my sister to finish reading it, I finally got Princess of Gossip in

Princess of Gossip by Julia Devillers and Sabrina Bryan is a story about how a typical girl moves to LA and hits it big with boys, secrets, and celebrities along the way. In the novel the main character Avery has the life that every girl dreams of, which is one of the reasons the book is so enjoyable. The novel allows the reader to go to a place of fantasy while using funny and relatable writing along the way. Devillers and Bryan apply real teen interests in the story by naming off stores, locat

I picked up PRINCESS OF GOSSIP to read because I liked the cover and I thought it might be a cute story. (And I liked Julia DeVillers' HOW MY PRIVATE PERSONAL JOURNAL BECAME A BESTSELLER.) Avery has just moved to southern California from Ohio and becomes embroiled in the world of celebrities and their publicity events after starting a fan page for a new musician. Okay, complete fluff and totally unbelievable, but fun to read in parts. I really liked the idea of how the friends created a seco

I totally loved reading Princess of Gossip by Sabrina Bryan and Julia DeVillers.. It is about a teenage girl named Avery would like most girls her age loves to read Celebrity gossip magazines and blogs online. When she was mistaken for a rising stars assistant she she was sent an invitation to a Hollywood party where she took a picture of a celebrity and posted it to her own blog. All of a sudden she becomes the "it girl" From Beginning to end the story line pulls you in so much that y

Same as other readers, I also didn't expect much of this book. ( Let's just say I am a snob and when I see that Sabrina Bryan is a Cheetah Girl, My prejudice showed up). I was also not interested with the synopsis on the back cover. I thought it would be another Gossip Girl type of book and I hate that kind of book. After I read it, I found out the sysnopsis only tells the story of the second half of the book. It's actually the first half of the book that really gets me and makes me amazed.

I admit it. I was a bit skeptical when I heard that one of the Cheetah Girls, Sabrina Bryan, was going to have a book coming out. And after reading the first two chapters, I was starting to think my doubts had basis. But... (and this is a huge but...) when I hit Chapter 3, everything changed. I got sucked into the story!

This book while cute in theory was horribly written. Apparently they didn't have very good editors as the grammar was poor and there were many typos throughout the book. If that wasn't annoying enough the dialog from the characters would be said by the wrong person or someone who wasn't present at the time in the story. This was a poorly written book but it was a decent quick read. I guess I know why it was on the clearance rack now.

This book was a good quick read. It didn't really make an impression after reading the book but it still was pretty good. I actually didn't have any idea who Avery was going to end up with for most of the novel because there was three main guys that I saw her having potential with. Anyway, it was cute but really it wasn't anything spectacular.

Ini teenlit
sponsornya aja mtv.. :D
tapi makin lama udah terbiasa.. no problem-lah kecuali sedikit heran, 'since' kan ga selalu diartiin 'sejak' ... secara gitu loh..
dan ceritanya juga ringan, remaja banget, nyenengin-lah..
enak dibaca kalo lagi pengen ketawa-ketawa sendiri :))

Princess of Gossip is an amazing book of a small town girl getting her dream as she packs up and moves to the city of stars. What starts out as a simple fan site with her putting in real, true dedication to the content of it, becomes and fame hungry girl who gets caught up in the fame as the Princess of Gossip.

I read this is grade 7 or 8 and I really loved it. I tried reading it again, but I couldn't get passed the first few pages because I realized how horrible quality of writing it was.
