Neat little novella about a secret agent who is a master of disguise. As with James Bond and numerous other fictional secret agents, Secret Agent X possesses near super-human qualities. He can disguise himself as almost anyone. He can beat up a bunch of thugs that outnumber him 5 to 1. He can get beaten to a pulp and still manage to thwart the bad guys. As with a lot of the secret agent/thriller genre, you have to suspend the physical laws of our normal world when you enter the realm of the clan ...more

This is a very good short action/secret agent thriller. It is entertaining with plenty of mystery and plot twists that keep the reader guessing until the end.It is very focused giving only what we need to know at each moment. Definitely worth the quick read. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Old fashioned pulp-action hero, The Man of a Thousand Faces returns. Author Ellis does a nice job capturing the feel of the pulps with a mystery of hidden identities and a city in danger. I hope Ellis returns to the character again, but I'd also like to see what he could do with some of the other Golden Age heroes. You can't take all this too seriously, but it is fun. Recommended!

In read this out loud to my six and eight year old boys. They hung on every word.

The rating speaks for itself. It's a poorly constructed plot, woefully written and rather disjointed in how to plays out. It certainly isn't worth the time, even though short.

An interesting little story.

Not bad; seemed like it plopped you in the middle of the action with not a lot of backstory explained, but it was a great, quick read.

Spy-ish thriller.
