Content? What content? All we have here is creator interviews and a bunch of bios. These are things that, if they were collected at all, should have been included as extras in any of the dozen or so other Civil War trades Marvel released, and putting them together as a separate book with a price tag of $14 is a cash grab. Only somebody deeply invested in the Civil War storyline would care at all, and they could probably find the same or better information online for free.

I don't know what I was expecting from a comic book companion… But this was not it. I was hoping for an overview of the events that had occurred… I am checking out the Civil War comic books from the public library and I do not think I will have access to all of then ... So I had hoped the companion could help fill in some gaps.

However if I were to be a hard-core comic book fan then I think I may have enjoyed this better…
Was a nice breather reading through the whole storyline - I'm sure these issues were EXTREMELY helpful if you weren't reading all the issues in one day.
I don't remember how or why I bought this, but it's basically just a catalog of characters that appeared in Civil War.
Tons of material that's not at all essential. Worthwhile maybe for Civil War completists or hardcore Marvel fans.

It's like a dvd extra, this one.
