Marylin Hafner has a very distinct style in her book “Mommies Don’t Get Sick.” She uses panels for her illustrations, and the narrations are outside of the panels, and the dialogue is in speech bubbles in the panels. There are a lot of details in the illustrations. For example there is a lot going on in each picture that doesn't necessarily have to do with the story at all. Some people and dogs say things that don't have to do with the story either and are just there for comedic purposes.
