I liked this book, Warrick's parents was in a previous book, but that time I wasn't too thrilled about some choices his mum made. But now it all worked for me. And I do give that it was fun to see his parents again and see that they had gotten children, and that there was happiness.

Pirates! Ok, no, but sort of later on. Re-wind. Warrick Barry is investigating smugglers and pirates. To gain some information he marries Karly Bane, the daughter of a pirate. But a stronger reason for this is that he

Pirates, adventure and romance...oh my! Sarah Parr’s latest novel His for the Taking is a classical romance with action that will have you on the edge of your seat and a love story sure to capture your heart. This is a novel not to be missed!

Karly is on a simple mission to reclaim a small token of hers in Warrick Barry’s home. He thinks her a criminal, one of the many smugglers on the open sea that he is working to capture. When he discovers that she is the daughter of an infamous pirate, he mak

The end was unique and made the book worth the read. It was a true formula romance complete with every cheesy scene that could possibly fit in the book. I did enjoy the pirate angle. I did not enjoy the faux strong heroine that fainted over everything and had to be saved every chapter. Very well written book with colorful dialogue. Was not a wasted read just not one I would reread. Author has potential and I will read another of her work. :)
