Pinkalicious and the Pink Drink is the first Pinkalicious book Julia and I have tried.... and we both loved it. I love recommendations, for either Julia or myself, so when a friend told me her daughter loved these books I ordered a few. We have three or four (or five) more laying around, including Pinkalicious, Silverlicious, and Goldilicious. And after glancing through Kann's books here I'm glad to see more are available since Julia fell in love with this one.

She tries a truly...um...interesting set of ingredients for her recipe, before her mother suggests a simpler [and more drinkable] version.
There's not a lot of story here, but it addresses the willingness of kids to make things up as they go along. In fact, two of her ingredients probably would have made an interesting drink. When More...

Pinkalicious and the Pink Drink by Victoria Kann is a departure from the original format. The series started as a trio of picture books, hardbacks with over sized pages and gorgeous pastel collages. Pink Drink t More...

I love this one. It's a very cute story, with Pinkalicious' fun combination of mischief and innocence.

Another hit from this author! She has a few more pink books coming out soon, I'm excited to see them.
