5 Stars! ~ Country auctioneer, Daniel Ramsey doesn’t know what to make of the young woman dressed to the nines, who seems to hold him in low esteem; somewhere she’s gotten the idea he’s out to scam her grandma. His first thoughts are that Freya Anthony lives up to her bad girl reputation, and hasn’t lost that spoilt attitude. Between running his auction house and struggling as a single father to a rebellious 15-year-old daughter, Daniel doesn’t need the complications Freya can bring to his life....more

It's a nice read.

Characters were ok, they had more scenes that I expected (short book), there weren't any huge misunderstandings...

I can't say that something bothered me. It wasn't anything special, but I appreciate when a book doesn't annoy me with stupid plots.

It's a sweet story, and an enjoyable read, I just wish it would have been longer. Because I enjoyed the main characters but in so little pages is not enough time to develop them in detail and I missed that.

This title does not fit with this book. The wedding happens in the Epiloge and the proposal in the last chapter, neither of which were needed. This is the second mills and boon book Ive read that has done this.
As for the actual story, its rushed and dull and boring.

I really like this book. I wasn't the easiest teenager to live with, so I enjoyed this turn of events.

I was born in an 'old' English county called Middlesex. You won't find it on any modern map - it's been swallowed up by Greater London and at the swish of a bureaucratic pen it disappeared. Nevertheless, I had a perfectly happy childhood there with two parents who love me and a younger brother I still like! Painfully shy, books were my passion and my first career ambition was to be an author -- ma...more
