Really more like a 3.5 - 3.75

Quickly: no, the two boys are not about to make out; they are 'twin souls' -- twins who lead separate lives on different planets, not knowing about each other until, well, they do... Myers designed the cover herself!
Titus and Atreus is slightly out of my usual realm, but as you know from the Wild Things Challenge, I am trying to push myself to try new things. For the most part, this 'new thing' was a success for me.

Since this is Meridi Myers' debut novel, I didn't know what to expect when I first picked up this book. From the first page though, I was captured.
Titus and Atreus had a very unique plot that I really enjoyed. The first chapter started off at a nice pace, introducing a little about Titus and raising a lot of questions about what happened in his past, but after that, the novel took off when Juno, Atreus' friend and bodyguard, took Titus thought the mirror, to Typhon. As the secrets about wh More...

Titus and Atreus was an interesting fantasy novel that was very unique and different than many other YA fantasy novels. I really liked the idea that each person has a twin soul living on another planet. Also, it was very cool how Atreus's and Titus's lives were connected even though they lived on two very different planets: their girlfriends have the same birthday, they lost their parents on the same day, broke their leg at the same time, and many other same occurrences. The characters were all More...

Titus and Atreus was a unique read. I have yet to read anything remotely like this. Refreshing! Having two worlds Typhon and Earth with everyone having a soul twin. I really enjoyed Juno's character the best. I can't put my finger on it exactly. This moved extremely fast with plenty of action. As I was saying about the uniqueness is having a twin soul in another world and having everything that happens to you happens to your soul was a great concept. Once Titus was brought to the world of Typh More...

Titus and Atreus by Meridi Myers is a book that will take you away to a land of angels and myths. The book is an enjoyable read, and the world of Typhon, that Meridi creates is something that you would think was set in the times of kings and queens, and empires. But in reality its in an alternate world to present day earth. Titus and Atreus is a really interesting read and I'm happy I was able to receive a copy and some goodies to go along with it.

Titus is a earthling, and since he's More...

When I first picked up Titus and Atreus, I did not know what to expect. As I started to read it, I was pleasantly surprised to discover how much I was enjoying the story! The plot was completely original and unique. I have never read anything like it. I absolutely loved the idea of having a twin soul on another world. In fact when I was younger, I used to think that there was another version of me living on another planet somewhere who looked exactly like me, but had a different lifestyle.

Titus and Atreus is a magical novel of dark prophecies, dangerous secrets and a deadly battle. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

My favourite thing about Titus and Atreus is the characters. Titus and Atreus are twin souls consumed by fear and controlled by destiny. But they’re also selfless and brave. There is also Atreus’ bodyguard Juno (who reminds me a little of Valek from Maria V. Snyder’s Study trilogy) and intimidating healer Nightingale. Though it’s the Angels that stol More...

Went into this book skeptical, because I haven't been enjoying the fantasy books that I've been reading lately, in fact I've stopped the last two before 50 pages. At page five of Titus and Atreus I was captivated.
