It had been a while since I picked up a Hemlock Fall mystery book and maybe it was because I had just finished 'Arsenic and Old Cake' which gave me a migraine but I found myself quite happy to read these books. This book includes the 3rd and 4th books in the Inn at Hemlock Falls series. I am having trouble liking the characters in the series. This book is 2nd in the series. Haley is trying to write a food column and goes to a big conference about writers who use food in their books. Two of the speakers are murdered and Haley has to find out why and who did it. There is a lot of talk about fancier foos and recipes.

Cute if you are really into cozy mysteries, the food element was nice. I never really connected with the characters so this one is a miss for me.
