This book was incredibly interesting. It combined things that I already knew with new information that was presented in a generally easy-to-follow way. A lot of topics were addressed, but they all related back to the general topic of consumer culture. This book did a very good job of establishing a solid base level of knowledge for me and answering my surface-level questions while also opening my eyes to a lot of more specific things that I now want to learn more about.
